Anthrocon 2015: The Sand Diego Padres Chicken!
I was just minding my own business (I think Neko was inviting me to the feline panel) when I suddenly spotted this guy walking down the hall. I shouted out: "I knew I had a hunch I'd love 'The Baseball Bunch!" I was pleasantly surprised when he posed for photos. Other celebrities that have been guests at other conventions wouldn't allow that without me paying a fee.
"The Baseball Bunch" was a television show that aired early on Saturday mornings. It was mainly meant to be an instructional video for little leaguers to watch before heading off to the game (at least I assume it was on early enough for them to do that. I was never that much into sports to want to join a team). It was hosted by johnny Bench, featured Tommy Lasorta as The Dugout Wizard, weekly MLB guests, and, of course, The Chicken.
