I made them quite close together but didn't want them to be the same so I tried to do some things differently to make them both look like fennecs but still stand out from each other (plus since everything is handsculpted/handmade it often ends up a little different. like the ears)
a little A and B. I pick the seams but some fur is really tricky, especially seal fur, due to how the fibers get pushed aside from the action of sewing. It creates a variation in texture that can catch the light differently.
The seam where the long and short fur meet is a shadow from the strong studio lighting and normally wouldn't be visible like this.

I hadn't noticed the seams before. They are really present in all the photoshoot images.
