A scene from Michael Bergey's, aka 
earbender, novel "New Coyote": Coyote baking some cookies with some nosy little pups! This may be used as a book cover someday, hence the wide format. I created this scene using a Sketchup model as a rough base for the perspective lines, and Corel Painter 15 for all the colorful textural painty stuff.
Oh, and don't worry about those paws. Coyotes are fire proof!

So much delight here!
Such clean, industrial drawing and lines for the kitchen, and such soft and realistic texture and fur for the critters. The lighting, and the hints of a world outside the window. The homey touch of the spider-plant hanging in the light. The over-all spirit and personality of the entire piece.
Not to mention, the subject matter is near and dear to the heart of this cookin' wuffy!! *HUGS*
Vrghr so loves this piece! Those cubs all piled up on mom, and the one staring intently from the counter - So CUTE!!
Such a warm, "family" feel!
Vrghr would happily buy a print of this, if it should become available!! And would love to see more such critters in a 'domestic' setting like this!

It looks great but if i were the parent, i would totally not touch it without a glove as it looks still pretty fresh hot. I guess convincing everyone that these coyotes are fireproof while looking like ordinary coyotes with human inteligence is fair enough, at least to not get bombed with ppl pointing out the paw issue lol. I really like the contrast you made with the light and the colors are very pleasent
