The Roost was lively that evening, maybe a little more lively than expected. The mayor had it built only just recently, but villagers had been flocking to it since. Was it because the coffee was superb? Maybe because the music was always so calming to whomever heard it? Or maybe it was the chance for them to come here after a long day, or start of a day, and socialize along with the great coffee? Whatever it was, it was extra lively that evening, probably because of its unusual customer.
The Roost itself was dimly lit, with low lights on as night began to overtake the landscape. It provided a calming atmosphere to the place, even with every chair filled. Tom Nook and Kicks the skunk both chatted over their roasts, with Whitney nearby enjoying her sugary blend. Off on her own, at a small table, was Sable Able, blushing softly to herself as she sat in her chair and looked around nervously while her belly kicked. She was still wearing the dress Mable made, which, after going out and seeing how it held up to walking around, was perfect for her form. She never came here herself, mostly because she didn't like coffee, but there she was.
She mindlessly rubbed her hand over the kicks in her stomach, reminding her of why she was here in the first place. Brewster, the green owl with a mustache behind the counter, was fixing her a meal. Normally he only served coffee, but he insisted that she be a little... special. She looked down at her roundness and rubbed both of her hands over it, even shyer than usual over the people around her looking at her now and again, chatting lightly amongst themselves. She was kind of lost in her own little world... and was only brought out of it by the sound of a sliding chair near her. She looked up with a gasp, to see her table had an extra now.
Next to her was a face she had seen a lot, though it wasn't the mayor of the town. He was very popular and always showed up in strange places, just like right now, sitting in the seat beside hers. K.K. Slider, the white dog musician and the DJ of Club LOL, though he was not wearing his beret and glasses. He had his same smile and his guitar draped over the back of his chair, and he was looking right at her. "Well hello there. Fancy meetin' you here of all places, cool momma. How have you been doin'?" He talked the same mellow tone as always, with bits and pieces of feeling like it was one of his songs, and it was all aimed at her.
She began to blush harder as she ground into her seat a little bit. She opened her mouth periodically to answer, but nothing would come out. She'd never once talked to K.K., only listened to his songs now and again, yet he was sitting right beside her and talking to her as if they'd talked every day. She shifted a little bit as she felt a few kicks push towards him.
His smile got wider, as if understanding, and gave a nod. "Yeah, not so easy bein' a mom-to-be, with everyone all around lookin' at ya and saying things you don't hear." Sable was more then a little flustered as he looked at her. "Do you mind if I feel them a little bit?"
Sable was not very good at straight-to-the-point things as she swallowed a lump in her throat down. This was why she didn't like going to places like this! She wasn't... too good with all this talking stuff. She was much better at doing her work. She shouldn't have left the shop. She was about to get up and leave as fast as she could, but... she felt her head shaking side to side.
K.K. nodded. "Cool. Thank ya, pretty mama." Sable was now full-on deep red as K.K. put a soft hand to her tummy and began to gently rub it around.
He looked down at it and he felt a few kicks, giving soft nods seemingly to her belly or to himself now and again. Sable looked around, seeing the villagers now looking at her a bit more, and the scene happening before them. She wanted to just melt right there, just melt and slink away to the store and close up shop until no one else could see her. She closed her eyes intently, imagining it.
"Sure thing, li'l man. Just one though."
She kept her eyes closed, before... she heard the strumming of a guitar, and just had to look.
K.K. was now leaning back in his chair, guitar in front and his paws strumming on the strings. He had his own eyes closed as he sounded it all out note by note. He tuned the strings, made the sound he liked, and began to play out a slow tune. The music of The Roost stopped for this impromptu tune, everyone listening in and focusing on K.K. as the notes began to form together. He didn't open his mouth or put any words to the tune, but Sable did... feel it. She heard those low notes and the subtle beat as she put her hand to her womb, feeling the babies kick along lightly.
He continued along his track, humming along lightly, as if thinking of what kind of words to put to it. Heads bobbed around to the beat, smiles spreading across patrons. Sable herself still looked on, blushing as hard as could be, but... her smile was appearing on her face, and spreading slowly as she looked to him. He was making a song up to a tune he had felt from her little ones, a soft lullaby of guitar strings and mellow moods to fill the air and settle it all down, even her shakiness over all of this going around. That song went on for what felt like a nice long time, before K.K. let the final note go. Soft clapping then filled the air where the notes once were.
Sable sighed a little, all of those tensions she was feeling let loose. She was still nervous, as usual, but she was beginning to feel much better. She looked again to K.K., and he looked back with a wide smile. A small "clack" sounded on the table, turning her attention to it. Brewster set her order down and bowed his head a little, heading back to the bar. A glass of hot chocolate smoked lightly, its aroma filling her nose, and beside it was a nice helping of cherry pie, both with cream on them. It was a healthy-sized order, with a small glass of water to wash it all down. She began to eat happily, enjoying the sweet and tart of the pie with the smooth chocolate together.
She never realized how fast she ate, because it was all gone in moments, save for some on her face. She sighed again in even greater peace, her belly settled along with her babies. It was all superb... and it was followed by the clinking of money. Sable looked down, and gasped, finding her order had been paid for by K.K.. He sipped his own coffee, a music sheet by the cup and his guitar put back on the chair, and he let out a happy sigh. "For helpin' me with the new tune, and helpin' to bring out everyone's good mood."
He raised his glass a little as her blush returned, but she nodded her head. "T-t-thank you for your delightful music."
He nodded as he began to right down some notes, and took another sip. With her food finished, she picked up her plates, but K.K. lightly tapped her arm to get her attention back. "Good luck with all of that. If I were you, I would get you some sleep tonight. The Mayor set up that brand new dream place, said to help anyone sleep a good while, and really leave you feelin' good. Might wanna check that out tonight."
Sable gasped, remembering that coming in. Tonight WAS the night it opened up! It might be nice to try that out! She nodded her head in appreciation as he waved goodbye to her. She gave her dishes to Brewster hurriedly, and waddled out into the cool cool night.
Sable didn't have to go far from The Roost to find what she was looking for. She didn't know what to expect, given that the place had only been funded and built a few days ago, but she knew right where it was. She stood in front of the place in question, the Dream Suite, and marveled at the large structure with glorious architecture. It certainly looked as relaxing as the place was supposed to be, though being right next to a dance club might throw off what it was supposed to be. Sable moved to the heavy wooden door and looked at it intently, as if waiting for a giant to pop out of the large door. Finally, after some deep breathing, she grasped the large handle and pulled, opening the door.
Inside, she saw softer colors and thick walls, dampening the music from the next door Club LOL. The soft purple of the tile below was a nice compliment for the creamy colored wallpapers. It was a rather simple design, very easy on the eyes and a soft atmosphere. Sable felt a little sleepy just looking at it all, her often-sleepy-looking eyes drooping a little bit more. She then looked over to be surprised that she wasn't the only one who was here. Off towards the back, on a very cushy-looking yellow bed, was a very familiar form. Isabelle had just gotten herself settled into sleep, snoring cutely, as a strange tapir overlooked her with a smile.
Said tapir was very ladylike in her appearance, with red slippers and a white coat on her form, with pink trim. She smiled sweetly as she overlooked the sleeping dog, giving the large dome of a belly underneath the covers a small rub. "Sweet dreams, miss," she giggled softly to herself, before hearing a light clearing of the throat. Sable's cheeks pinked, both in surprise and embarrassment at not being the only large woman in the room. The tapir turned around, and gave a harsh gasp. "O-oh my. Another one has come here?" She stepped forward to Sable, as Sable looked down. "No matter. It's good for business and all. Welcome to the Dream Suite. My name is Luna. How can I help you tonight?"
Sable kept looking down, avoiding Luna's gaze and looking more off to the side, towards a small table with a miniature bed. "Mmm... I... I wanna... t-try your beds out. I- EEP!" she gasped, going wide-eyed as Luna put a hand to her belly and rubbed it softly. Sable expected her little ones to start kicking... but oddly enough, they didn't react to it much. "I-I-I... e-everyone has... s-s-said I need some more... rest. S-s-so they..." Sable looked up to Luna, only to see her nodding with a soft smile. She stopped rubbing the orb, and moved over towards one of the beds, patting it. Sable was still rather embarrassed, but she complied, lightly waddling over to the said bed, a soft purple bed similar to the nearby Isabelle's.
Luna smiled widely, hand up to her cheek as she looked excitedly at her customer, Sable practically able to see the flowers popping out of her head. "It's alright, miss. I understand. That is why I brought the Dream Suite here. So many people need some help to sleep, and they all want help making sure their dreams are nice and that they get dreams at all. That's why I am here, to help you dream." Sable took a moment to think that over before she nodded, took off her dress, and quickly got under the sheets of the bed, covering it all up quickly. "And I assure you, miss, I will help you have a very nice dream tonight, so you can rest easy." Sable had a soft smile on her lips, and nodded her head, resting a bit as Luna then walked away, bringing back a number of pillows for her support. "If there is anything you need, like warm milk or extra pillows or a hypnotist's wheel, I'll gladly provide. Though... just a little warning." Sable looked up at her, gave a cute yawn, and then went back to attention. "I can help make your dream good... but when there is more than one person here... the dreams tend to meld together. You might just meet someone else asleep in here in your dreams." Sable looked down, her eyes a bit droopy, but gave an understanding nod before she closed her eyes.
Luna then placed her hands to Sable's covered belly, and began to softly rub it to help Sable settle. Though Sable usually objected to people touching her without her saying so, she was really beginning to like the feeling of hands rubbing on her distended orb, and she wasn't about to complain now. Luna murmured a few soft words and whispered a little lullaby just loud enough for Sable to hear. Sable fully relaxed then, beginning to snore just lightly as she drifted off to sleep in a snap. Luna gave a smile, continuing to rub and whisper softly to influence Sable's dream.
Isabelle let out a loud sigh as she relaxed herself. She wasn't in a bed, though it felt just as relaxing as one. She was currently reclining on a beach chair, nice and soft in feeling since it was cloth and cotton in build. She absentmindedly rubbed her hand over her heavy baby belly, her green one-piece stretched over her form, with nice leaf patterning of a darker green dotting all over it. She had an open book on top of her dome. The beach was nice, and the sun was out and shining brightly, though Isabelle was nice and safe underneath her beach umbrella. She lazily looked across the beach to see not a soul around.
This was normal, of course, because she wasn't on the beach of Lotus; she was on Tortimer Island. Her well-deserved maternity leave was finally being of use as she reclined on the beach. Not many people came to this island, save for Tortimer or Mister Mayor. This was the first time she had ever come to it, and she could see why Mister Mayor kept coming out here all the time. Speaking of, she heard a small clink of glass to her side, and looked over. A glass of ice-cold lemon water was just set down on the table and her waiter was standing just off to the side. The sun blocked a good view of his face, but his features were well known to her: Mister Mayor himself, in a red Hawaiian shirt and wearing a simple set of swim shorts.
She sighed dreamily as she saw him, and took a light sip. The taste of it was divine. It was just water, but the simple addition of lemon added just the right tang to it to make it refreshing. She stopped her sipping with a happy sigh and looked up to him with a wide smile. She nodded her head, and he nodded back in understanding. He then knelt down and reached out to softly rub at her orb, her letting out a light and low coo as he rubbed around just right. Not too softly, not too rough, but just enough to make her feel just right and let her litter kick out its satisfaction. She whimpered up to him cutely, and she could see his smile so wide. He got up and walked off towards the cabin to let her catch up on her reading.
As he opened up the cabin, he heard a soft yawn from one of the bedrooms. He quickly stepped over to it and opened the door to see the other visitor to the island was just waking up. With a large stretch, the brown hedgehog was now awakened from her rest. She tossed the sheets off, looking over to the mayor, and gave a wide smile. He was here, and she knew where here was. She was on Tortimer Island, the ideal vacation spot of any loving couple, especially when they have family on the way. He waved to her as she carefully balanced up onto her feet.
She was smiling as wide as possible at seeing him, and looked down. She wanted to feel embarrassed about anyone seeing her like this... yet she couldn't. She felt... proud, and she was wearing a soft yellow bikini that allowed all of her belly to show for him. She couldn't feel embarrassed about that in the slightest, not to him. She eyed him softly, waddling up towards him, and she finally gave him a kiss, square on the lips. She never felt any better than that single moment, her heart jumping in joy and her feelings true, and he... well, he was so happy, she just knew it, and she smiled alongside him.
He then motioned over to the door, and she gave a nod. Going outside to enjoy the beach did sound like a good thing to do at this moment. He gave her a nod back and motioned towards the stove and cooking utensils, telling her that he would handle all of the cooking for her. She nodded, since she wasn't exactly good at cooking just yet, and headed towards the door to the rustic cabin to finally have a little bit of fun.
The door gave way to a beautiful scene of a small island, out in the middle of nowhere. The sand was glistening and shells littered the beach. The sun was high and there was not a cloud in the sky. The only thing out on the water was the boat belonging to Kapp'n and Tortimer in the distance, and they were currently out to see to some of the other islands, leaving her and the mayor alone on this island. She saw a beach umbrella, but the shade hid the dark suit of Isabelle, Sable not even noticing anyone under it. Instead, she waddled right past the umbrella, paying it no mind as the first thing she did was head into the water. Not far, just enough to submerge her chest.
With this, she then closed her eyes and inhaled a deep breath of salty sea air, and let the feeling of the wind and the waves wrap around her, with the water being just warm enough as it lapped at her neckline. She was in paradise, not a care in the world as she stood there in the water for a good minute... before she laid back, eyes closed, and allowed herself to float. She floated right to the top, her head and her large belly sticking out of the water. The tide was soft today and gently moved her body with each roll to let her drift around the island. This was all she wanted at this moment, the chance to completely relax, away from all the people wanting to talk to her, save for the mayor. She allowed the waves to roll her around the island slowly, letting out small sighs now and again.
Isabelle was very pleased with her read, her tail flicking left and right happily as she read up on the history of the town of Lotus and a recant of all the recent laws that had been made thanks to Mister Mayor. It was truly a very nice town, and there was no shortage of people to come to the town now thanks to all of the work Mister Mayor had done. She murred a little in her breath and took another sip of her lemon water, then cast a lazy gaze to the water before returning to her book.
Relaxed as she was, it took her a second to do a slow double-take. She looked up from her book and tilted her head slightly at the sight before her. There was a strange chestnut-colored orb floating atop the water. That was a little weird. Was it a beach ball? An oversized nut of some kind? The fin of a large fish? Whatever it was, it felt out of place. She then gave a light gasp, seeing a very familiar face out of the water near that orb. Of course she knew Sable, and she knew that she was growing big just like herself, but... a quick glance to reference size, and Sable was positively huge! Larger than Isabelle by just a soft degree. This wasn't right! It was just supposed to be her and the mayor out here today!
Sable was relaxing easily as her hands lightly dipped out of the water to rub at her belly with her cool watery hands, spreading some nice feelings across her body. Then, a loud voice called out to Sable by name, and Sable opened her eyes, making no quick movements as she looked around. Then, her name was called again, and she looked over to its source. It was Isabelle, largely pregnant and now standing on the beach. She was calling out to her, her tummy hanging off her with her one-piece a bit stretched out from it. Sable's tailor instincts told her that was a shame, really, but... wait a minute... this was supposed to be her vacation with the mayor! This was... was... she paddled to the shore and stepped forward to the beach.
The Mayor opened the door of the cabin, with a bell in hand. He was about to ring it to signal the food was ready, only to stop himself at the last moment. His excitement turned to concern, as out on the beach were Sable and Isabelle. They were talking to each other, both sounding equally confused and raising their voices as both of their bellies kicked around softly. Both were arguing why they were here and whose time it was on the island at this moment. It was beginning to get heated, with Isabelle letting out light barks as Sable glared right back at the shih-tzu.
Both of them continued their arguments, paying no mind to anything else as their bellies continually kicked around, increasingly upset at them for fighting so much, but both of them were too deep in their argument to care. It was about to get bad... then, Isabelle let out a loud yelp as she felt a soft kiss on her cheek and a hug on her body, Mister Mayor hugging her. She stopped as she looked to him in surprise. Sable was just as surprised, but she soon received the same, a deep hug and a soft kiss on her cheek, making her flush the deepest of the dark reds as she looked at him.
Their attentions and fight were stopped, but their bellies continued to kick. Finally, the mayor began to speak up. "Ladies, ladies. There's no reason to fight over this. You are a very beautiful woman, and you are bearing very beautiful life, and so are you!" He placed his hands to their bellies and softly rubbed them. He looked at them both, with an almost stern yet loving look in his eyes. "There's no reason to fight about this at all. This isn't just our time, this is the time to appreciate our families and to enjoy all of our companies, before they come into this world to be loved by all of the people. So... can we all agree to cut out this fighting, and enjoy what little time we have?" A wide smile spread on his face as he said that, sincere to the last word.
Isabelle was stunned at this moment, looking at him, then down to her belly, much like Sable was doing. Both of them gazed at their tummies, kicks radiating as they looked, before both looked up at each other. Isabelle looked just about ready to cry at this moment, feeling so ashamed and stupid for... well, yeah, Mister Mayor had done so much for the whole town, of course he could be there for just the two of them. Sable was feeling much the same, feeling like she was... so irresponsible over it. Both had a lump in their throat as they looked to each other, like they wanted to run away right that moment... before the mayor softly grasped both of their hands, and pulled them together, their bellies touching each other and kicked softly together.
That was enough. Isabelle quickly reached out her hands, and grasped Sable and the mayor in each arm. The mayor did so next, holding both ladies softly. Sable looked embarrassed and reluctant, but... soon enough, her hands found their marks around the two, and all three pulled together into a hug, with soft "Sorry"s sounding out from the mothers. They held that hug for a long while, almost forever it felt, before they finally let go. The ladies were misty-eyed, until the mayor let out a happy "Hey!" as he pointed out to the ocean, seeing Tortimer and Kapp'n clapping for them all, making Isabelle and Sable blush even harder.
What happened next... well... a true family vacation, just like the ladies wanted. Sable and Isabelle both swam in the ocean, had chairs to relax in, and had a long, happy chat with each other, about politics and clothing and anything else that struck their fancy. Sable read a little of Isabelle's book, and Isabelle listened to Sable talk about good clothes ideas for the two of them. The mayor whacked a melon with a hammer, and all of them were able to eat large slices of the seedless melon, and there was even volleyball between the girls Mister Mayor and Tortimer, with Kapp'n as the judge. All parties laughed, played, and enjoyed their time together, before they finally all headed into the cabin, to end a good day with a large meal... that the Mayor had to cook all over again, but he didn't mind.
Morning slowly dawned over Lotus, the start of a fresh day. Isabelle was the first to awaken, softly yawning as she woke from such a crazily... pleasant dream. That was the best sleep she'd had in years! She yawned cutely, quickly changing back into her clothes, which Luna had washed over the night, and looked around. She gasped as she saw Sable nearby lazily waking up herself.
Sable yawned aloud, tearing up a little as she wiped her eyes, feeling as fresh as a freshly sprouted peach tree. She got to her feet and changed quickly, but gasped as her large belly touched to another one nearby. Sable looked up, to be met with a very happy yellow face.
Luna was awake herself, smiling as she saw the two of them chatting. Both of them were sounding almost like close friends as they chatted, as if they were picking up where they left off on the island. "Did you two have a nice sleep?" Both of them nodded their heads as Luna smiled. "Good." Both began to produce a bag of bells as payment, but gasped as Luna refused. "No no, no pay this time. Both of you have a good day, and come back anytime you need a good night's sleep!" Both of them smiled as widely as possible, and waddled to the door. Isabelle let Sable out first, her purple swirled dress glittering in the morning sun as it met the outside. It would be a little before work started, so both stepped over to the Able Sisters tailor shop, to see what Isabelle would look good in.
Meanwhile, one last person gave a soft yawn in the Dream Suite, widening Luna's smile as she saw him. He changed into his clothes and quickly put on his fedora, hiding his face, but she knew just who it was. "Good morning, Mister Mayor!" He smiled, and tipped his hat. "Did you sleep well?" He nodded his head, and paid for the three of them, her smiling widely. "You truly love both of them, don't you?" He flushed hard, and rubbed his head as she smiled widely. "Good luck with that, sir, and I hope you come again!" He gave another nod, as he walked out the door, to start his day anew. Probably getting some bells, helping the residents once more, and taking a visit to one of his favorite shops before he would go back to his office to talk with his secretary.

You don't have enough comments on these (stories need more love on FA. ^^)
I really liked both parts. They are neatly interwoven and parallel at first, but then this one seamleassly blends into the continuation.
I have never played any of the AC games, but you did a great job showing each characters personality by their behaviour, description and dialogue.
