Seems that I am overly due for a good Reference sheet for Cotton Candy.
Ever since I became a Fennec in Second life I realized I found my calling as a fox. Sure I made a good tan and dark brown
regular fox. I realized that being a Fennec more matched my personality. I was a cute pink fluffy ball of fun. Then I was made a pony girl For more than a year I had gone from a Grey Fennec to Pink and was locked as a ponygirl. After a short time my former owner commented that my tail looked like Cotton Candy. Thus I was named Cotton Candy.
I stayed a pink fennec for more than a year. Then I was told to change colors and I picked the blue fennec and I became blue Cotton Candy. I stayed blue for a while and then I switched out from blue to pink. When I married Red I was pink. Still I was switching back and forth. Finally after a talk with my friend I decided to try a Mesh body. I had already converted my rarely used human form to a full mesh a year ago but still it would take some work to color a body and make an applier for it.
I will have to say that my friend has a lot of talent and we went through a few trials before settling on a color scheme and how I would look. Once that was decided she went to work drawing out the colors and mapping them for an applier. she also had to take my head lower legs and tail and color them to match the body. The applier had to be two parts and you can barely see the seam where they touch. It was a first class job and I have been using it since. I became a new kind of Fennec. One of a kind. Pink, blue and white were my new colors.
I have to say that the reaction was more than positive and the work on my tail coloring was fantastic. After being the new Cotton Candy the new head colors and my nice colored ears something was still missing. My old Fennec hair was just not really up to snuff and color-able. So we went hair shopping! I sound found out that finding a nice set of mesh hair that also had the optional coloring that I wanted was not an easy task. After shopping we fond what I wanted nice mesh hair with
the color options I needed. After some tweaking I had my hair with the colors I wanted.
Now having a new body and coloring meant that I had to color coordinate. My collar changed to red and white. Most of my clothing is now blue or pink. Sadly being made a puppy has me locked in a Kas bitch suit and all you can see is my pretty tail and my big ears on my soft furry head. Well being cute and cuddly has its hazards. People want to own you.
Take you for walks. Lots of cuddles happen.
Well since I was asked several times by various artists to have a Reference sheet. I did have lots of Second Life screen shots. Since I am writing a nice story that needs pictures I have been using Otakuwolf and he very much asked for a reference sheet. I said ok can you do one. Well he had just filled his now Que full of orders. I already have an art needing to be done for the next part of the story. So I contacted Valery. She was open and has done many pieces for me before.
I sent her some nice Screen shots of my Avatar for her to use in the Reference sheet. I think she did a fantastic job!
