My little girl, had a Farm playset, with a bunch of plastic animals, that she enjoyed playing with. One day, while she was playing with it, I asked her if she would like to go to a real farm, and see some real animals. She seemed pretty excited about it, so we went to a friend's farm, for a picnic. She got to see pigs, various types of chickens (she liked the Silky Chickens, the best, because they were so fluffy, and funny looking), a donkey, and a horse named Abby. She even got to sit in the saddle for a few minutes for some photos of her on a horse. She really liked Abby. We didn't get to see a cow, sheep or goats that day, but when we went to the County Fair, we got to see those animals too! I think she still liked Abby the Horse, the best of all. But this is a picture of Ruby, playing with her Farm. Thank you, Kimmy, for capturing this so perfectly! I love it! And I can't believe I forgot to post it, before now! I love this image of her, just as I remember her, playing with those little Farm Critters.

Same here! And they're all from over a year ago... Oops! I just wish I had some art from the people who actually OWE me art... that sort of upsets me, that I paid for stuff while I was at Anthrocon, and I never received anything... not a WIP, not an email... nothing... I REALLY wanted that art...
I'm waiting on a badge that I ordered at Califur last year that I know hasn't been started yet but that's only because the artist told me right up front that there would be at least a 10 month wait due to backlog. Did any of them give you an estimate on when it would be started?
Well that's a bummer. I'm sure that most of those artists got swamped with work or something reasonable like that, especially at Anthrocon. The best advice I can give is to try to contact them via email, notes or whatever means. Let them know that you're just asking for an update on the pieces you commissioned. They may have just forgotten about your commission. (Not a great excuse but it happens.)
