roughly 2000 years before the battle of Yavin, and after the sacking of Coruscant, the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic are locked in a bloody war, because of sabotage and in fighting between the many sith, they Sith Empire sustains extra casualties, so they start campaigning the war as a fight for freedom and relief against the oppresive republic that dictates independant systems to join their side to chain the freedom of the sith.

In a effort to gather troops for an invasion of Alderaan with help of the Thul household Darth Oreldir and commander Artemis pose for a recruitment poster. They will lead a force of 130.000 fresh Imperial troops in the battle of Alderaan, to relieve the planet from the Republic and it's Jedi opressors. while a large force their troops will be nothing more then a distraction for a mass of assassinations of high ranking members of other households to build a system of Empire loyal puppets within the households of Alderaan.
