An experiment with amethyst genuine pigment, and I also tried liquitex's acryla gouache. They are really cool products. The gold leaf shines really nice in person, and so does the purble pigment! Its subtle but really neat.

I called this piece Lunar Divine because the "halo"( which was present in a few other experimental pieces of mine, reminded me of the external ring in an eclipse). So it kind of has a double meaning. Also, wolves and purples and the textures in the pigment remind me of the moon :)

Tambako the Jaguar (Flickr) kindly let me use his wolf photos for this piece, it was a great fur texture study!
