During a summer trip to explore a large coastal jungle, Dexter stumbles upon a beautiful sight that can only be described as paradise. Most of the dense forest was dominated by shadows from the thick canopy above, but in this one particular spot, sunshine pours through and illuminates a turquoise pond; fed by waterfalls that empties cool refreshing water from short rocky cliffs. Those cliffs adorned with green vines and a variety of flowers that made the cliff look like a colorful wall, reflecting off of the water's surface and giving the pond itself a magical look. A large tree with thick, exposed roots leans somewhat over the pond, almost in a protective manner as a few of its branches jutted out further above those sparkling waters. Dexter was hard-pressed to continue exploring, to cover as much ground as he could with his limited time in this region. But the serenity of this location had him captured, not wanting to leave. He figured it wouldn't do much harm spending a little time here, resting himself before continuing his exploration. Especially after glancing over at a soft patch of grass that sat at the edge of this pond. "A purrfect place!" he thought.

Dexy made his way over, but just as he started carefully navigating the rocky slope beside the tree, he glanced up to one of the branches, noticing that a few more vines hung from it. His eyes traced their length downwards, ending just above the rippling waters. His ears perk, a toothy smile growing as the excitement within him rises from an idea. Dexter wastes no time at all tossing off his explorer's clothing, then drops his traveler's backpack to look for his swim trunks. With no one around, the momentarily nekked lion gives no thought whatsoever to his exposed rump while he bends down to fish through his backpack; his tail happily swaying from side to side above his golden buns in the sunlight. Soon enough "AH-HAH!" Dexter shouts as he reveals his red swim trunks, slipping them on proudly before making his way towards the water's edge beside the tree. The adventurous feline could barely contain himself, grabbing one of the hanging vines to give a testing tug. Thankfully it held firm, to which Dexter's toothy smile grew as he walks back a few steps, giving himself ample room to get a running start.

Dexy took a deep breath then bursts into a full-speed sprint, taking no time to reach the rocky slope once again. With a few carefully placed steps further, he shouts a fun-filled rawr as he leaps towards the branch, grabbing on then allowing himself to swing further above the water before letting go! It all happened so fast but he was surely having an absolute blast as he soared through the air for a few seconds until....SPLASH! The big feline crashes into the cool refreshing waters of the pond. Dexter swam around a bit, letting the waters flow across his fur while he took in this beautiful environment. Eventually he made his way toward the edge where he propped himself up, allowing his lower half to soak in the water while he rested, his amber eyes still taking in the surroundings. "Hmmmmm..." Dexter thought to himself for a second. This place is truly amazing now, but it would be even more special with others to share it with...

It practically screams summer vaca and makes me even more excited for the coming summer.
