my latest journal pretty much spelled out that by an overwhelming margin
that most people watching me prefer my femmes... and damn well they
should... the womanly figure rawks
so heres some lovely ladies for ya....
don't try and adjust the computer screen the femmes flanking Ceres are
blurred for the illusion of depth... i'm also well aware of the anatomical
incorrectedness of the two on the outer edge....
lol Festival of Estra... what could that celebrate? lol

Something that popped into my head while looking at this picture, intrigued by your question of "Festival of Estra...what could that celebrate?"
Every year, when the moon darkens from the sky for the sixth time since the snows are gone, the women come together to celebrate the Earth in it's warmth before the cold times come again. Estra, the Goddess of Winter, is awakening from her half-year slumber. Maidens from Sirius don their ceremonial garb that embraces the cool of the season, and dance the veiled dances as Estra herself is said in the elder legends to wear such garb herself.

Holy... this is a really well-done pic. The careful attention to detail on the dancer outfits, the simple but beautiful colors used, and the elegant movements of Ceres and her dancing Maidens in their festival dance really add up to make this an incredible work of art. Like a few others have said, you've really improved in your art recently, especially with attention to coloring and details to clothing and accessories.
Needless to say, I'm instantly fav'ing this.
