BACKSTORY:
Spottedfrost was born in ThunderClan to Dustclaw and Flowertail. Her parents had been trying for moons to have kits, and they finally had little Spottedkit. She was spoiled by both of her parents and the other queens. She was friends and playmates with Ravenkit, Graykit, and Sandkit. When she becomes 6 moons old, she is then apprenticed to Runningwind. She was apprenticed 2 moons after the other kits. However, a couple of days after her ceremony, both of her parents are mysteriously killed. This devastates Spottedpaw. Frostfur offers to take care of her and help her until she's a warrior, which she accepts. When Firepaw joins the camp, she is a new apprentince. She is curious, but is distrustful and snarky towards Firepaw. She mainly keeps to herself, but sometimes hangs out with Sandpaw and Dustpaw. She's scared and worried when Frostfur's kits go missing, she tries to calm down Frostfur and reassure her. She eventually grows to trust Firepaw after him and Graypaw save the kits and starts becoming nicer to him.

She is sad for Graystripe, but disappointed when the situation with his new kits happen. She's surprised and angry when Tigerclaw gets exposed and exiled from Thunderclan. She becomes friends with Ashpaw and Fernpaw and hangs out with them. She ends up getting her warrior name, Spottedfrost (in Rising Storm). A very short time later, she ends up hearing that Tigerclaw might be lurking nearby. She follows a scent and overhears Tigerclaw talking to an unknown cat about how he murdered her parents to "test the waters." This causes her to run away, where she ends up in the twoleg place.
She ends up accidentally wandering into Bloodclan. Bloodclan, noticing her muscular build and determination, threaten her to become a member or she'll be killed. She reluctantly agrees, where she is then mockingly given the name "Flinch." She hates Bloodclan and longs to escape, but can't due to the patrols. One day, she is approached by Bone. He tells her that Scourge was needing a strong she-cat to have kits with and Spottedfrost was a good match. Spottedfrost rejects the idea, but Bone tells her she has no choice but to have Scourge's kits. She eventually gives in and mates with Scourge. Later, Tigerstar comes to Bloodclan and allies with them. She is present when Bloodclan arrives in the forest and is saddened by all of her clanmates's angry looks at her. She wanted nothing more than to be with them in the forest again. She is shocked when Scourge kills Tigerstar, but not angry. She participates in the battle against Bloodclan, turning on Bloodclan and fighting for Lionclan. After the battle ends, Spottedfrost explains herself to Firestar and is allowed back into Thunderclan.
Things seemed to be well, but Spottedfrost's fear becomes a reality, Scourge's plan had worked and she was pregnant with his kits. Spottedfrost lied to her clanmates and told them that the father was a random loner she met on the way. When it comes time for her to give birth, she retreats to a secluded den just outside of Thunderclan territory. There, she gives birth to 3 kits, 2 she-cats and 1 tomcat. The tomcat bears a striking resemblance to his father, which saddens Spottedfrost. After some days, Sandstorm finds her and asks what happened at Bloodclan. Spottedfrost tearfully tells her and Sandstorm comforts her and reassures her that the clan will understand. Spottedfrost then names her kits, Stormkit (after Sandstorm), Blossomkit (due to the blossoming of a new era), and Nightkit (because he was born during the night). Spottedfrost brings her kits back to camp and things are well. She's among the first to see Sandstorm's new kits and is very happy for her friend.
Moons later, and things couldn't be better. Her kits were apprentices and Sandstorm's kits had recently become apprenticed too. She's saddened by the twoleg destruction of the place, the capture of several cats, and the moving to the new territories. She's even sadder when Frostfur stays behind. After the cats arrive in the new territories. Spottedfrost begins to develop feelings for Ashfur. She feels jealousy towards Squirrelpaw, but tries to ignore it. Her kits later get their warrior names, Stormpool, Blossompetal, and Nightbreeze.
A moon after the events of Sunset, her daughter Blossompetal approaches her. She tells her that she is pregnant with kits, but the father was from a different clan. Spottedfrost is shocked and angry at first, but eventually calms down. Blossomfall then asks Firestar if she can join Riverclan, as that's where the father was from. Firestar reluctantly agrees and Blossompetal joins Riverclan. She soon gives birth to three kits. During the next clan gathering, Leopardstar reveals that the father of Blossompetal's kits was Hawkfrost.

A moon later, Spottedfrost is approached by Ashfur who wants to become mates with her. Spottedfrost happily agrees and the two become mates. She eventually gives birth to his three kits while Lionpaw, Hollypaw, and Jaypaw are apprenticed. A she-cat named Applekit, a tomcat named Emberkit, and a she-cat named Brindlekit, after Brindleface. Ashfur was not present during her kitting which saddens her. After the birth of their kits, her and Ashfur begin to argue as Ashfur was often too strict or ignored his kits. This puts a rift on their relationship. After the storm, the fire starts and spreads throughout Thunderclan. Spottedfrost escapes with her kits, but Applekit wanders back into camp without her mother knowing and follows her father. This causes her to die from smoke inhalation. Spottedfrost is devastated by her loss and is comforted by Ferncloud and Sandstorm. Soon, Ashfur is found murdered. This devastates Spottedfrost more, first her kit and now her mate!?

After Hollyleaf announces that they're Leafpool's kits and runs away. Spottedfrost soon changes. She becomes extremely mean, bitter, and nasty to cats she now hates. Such as Leafpool, Squirrelflight, Brambleclaw, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather. This causes her to become disliked by them and by Firestar and Sandstorm. This goes on for some long moons, until The Forgotten Warrior.

After Hollyleaf's return, Spottedfrost is angry and still continues to be a jerk towards everyone. She ends up accidentally ingesting water hemlock along with Cherrypaw and Mousewhisker. She initially refuses Leafpool's help and snarkily remarks that she'd rather die. Blossompetal soon returns to Thunderclan with her kits and convinces her mother to let Leafpool treat her. While she's getting treated, her and Leafpool actually have some nice conversation. Spottedfrost is soon cured and takes some time away from her duties to reflect on herself. She ends up realizing that Ashfur never loved her and only got with her to make Squirrelflight jealous. She also realizes that while she may be angry at Leafpool and Squirrelflight, it does not justify how she has been treating them. She finally understands that Leafpool and Squirrelflight have suffered enough as it is. Leafpool had to give up her own kits and watch them, and Squirrelflight lost her adopted kits as well. Spottedfrost remembers how sad she was when Blossompetal left and when Applekit died and understands.
She seeks out Leafpool and tearfully apologizes to her, Leafpool forgives her and the two she-cats become friends. Spottedfrost soon apoligizes to the others as well.
Spottedfrost fights in the battle against The Dark Forest and earns herself some scars, both mentally and psychically. The psychical scars come in the form of four shoulder scars. The mental scars come with the death of her eldest daughter, Stormpool. Leafpool and Spottedfrost both comfort each other, as they're both dealing with the loss of their daughters.

After the events of Bramblestar's storm, Spottedfrost approaches Bramblestar with an important inquiry. She requests that she start another clan, one that will take in cats that do not nessicarily feel that they fit in with any clan, or do not want to be in a offical clan but do not want to be loners. After some thinking and being informed by Leafpool that Starclan approves, Bramblestar agrees and allows them to set up camp right next to Thunderclan territory. Spottedfrost names the unoffical clan Stormclan, after her lost daughter. Since Stormclan is not yet an offical clan, members can still openly visit and live in Thunderclan. Spottedfrost still stays in both territories and is now best friends with Leafpool.
