Rikkun Zukheo - Reference Sheet 2020
I spent a lot of time on this than I care to admit, I finally finished my Sergal hybrid reference sheet. I could polish this all day long but I'll settle with this for now, I'll just update it later on. I'm still keeping and will draw Rikkun as a Wolfennec from time to time. ☕❤️

hes a soldier who uses both firearms and a katana and also has a unique poleaxe gun weapon, but hes also an artist AND a photographer and also a pilot, and also he has a special magical ability?
and he also happens to be both silly and serious at the same time? somehow both an introvert but also open and carefree? he enjoys art, and nature, and video games, and tinkering, and photography, but also likes the ever moving hectic lifestyle that the military offers? and he also enjoys both the rain and warmth?
Im sorry but there is a lot of contradictions in your character building here. it seems less like you wanted to create a unique character, and more like you just wanted to create an online image for yourself that you hamfisted every single interest you have into it. the use of both firearms and a katana at the same time just screams edgy teenager who thinks guns and swords are cool, but doesnt really know anything about either, so they just pick whatever they think looks cool.
the art is great and the character design is top notch, and as ridiculous as the poleaxe gun is, I do think its a cool concept. I just think the actual character building going on here is weak, and it doesnt seem like its an actual character, but rather just someone to insert your own personal interests into as an avatar for anything and everything.

You're right about the lack of story for this character, that could have been improved and focus more. My goal for this ref is to have Rikkun illustrated in various ways, if its with military, tribal/warrior, modern, formal, casual. If someone would make a chibi, ferral, beast form, there's a reference for it in a way :D

My character have different versions other worlds or timelines, such as a version of myself, beast, feral, warrior, military, medieval, modern, futuristic, etc. I made it this way so my character can be illustrated in any situation.
Rikkun has the ability to shift forms from different species mainly Wolfennec and Sergal to his Beast, Feral, Chibi forms. He likes to be bare and fluffy! His element is fire that is colored rose-red.
There isn't much a story right now but if I ever get more free time I will update this page for more lore and story."

His character SHOULD be what is natural to express himself. Not to appease to you.
Your criticisms are really basic and poorly thought out with gradeschool insults like "marry sue." The Likes and Personality Traits you listed as examples are not even contradicting, they are just diverse. Your reasoning to call those as contradicting is extremely poor. (As if you can't like both rain and warmth, or have any nuances in your personality? Huh? These are literally based on his traits irl.)
And if the various lifestyles didn't make sense to you, you seriously could have just asked questions about the character if you wanted to know why it had certain features/occupations what the artist intended with it rather that bust in full blast with your assumptions and condescending tone. Generally when I see that sort of variation I take it like a concept art for multiple scenarios because people like to do various things with their character to express themselves. You just made yourself look like an ass with your assumptions, prefaced with your awful reasoning regarding the character's interests personality traits.
Majority of the things you complained about have something to do with your personal subjective tastes, and you framed your opinion as if it's completely objective, which makes you sound prrrrretty arrogant.
Nobody's buying your condescending mockery smokescreened as "criticism and help." I guarantee this kind of approach does nothing to help any artist. You will more likely kill their motivation, and make them more hesitant to share the things they create. So be more mindful of the way you talk to people, or do something better with your time.

lol this coward blocked me before I could even respond, after he attacked me for having a friendly conversation with Thanshuhai. talk about rude. on the off chance that you see this BloodSoakedSnow, learn to read the room. the conversation had nothing to do with you, the conversation I had with Thanshuhai was pleasant and friendly, he took everything I said in good faith, and he doesnt need you coming in to defend him by attacking another follower of his. dont be rude.
