Now THIS is the roarin' soarin' summer adventure I'm talkin' about! Both Lakota and Dexter decided that there's no better way to spend a precious, beautiful, HOT summer's day, than to fire up their sleek jet skis and take to the water! Shredding the glistening waves that dance across the somewhat choppy seas, they both pull off a bunch of rad stunts; occasionally being sent airborne by a larger wave with a big rawr, doing their best to impress the other. Of course, when two adrenaline-filled lions get together, a bit of friendly competition is bound to break out. The powerful motors of the jet skis momentarily settle, silencing as the two lions get to an equal starting point before discussing the stakes of this race. Dexter soon points to a tall lighthouse a few miles down the coast, announcing that the tall structure would serve as the finish line and mark the winner! "Agreed! AND after I torch you and win, I shall claim the coveted title of 'King of the Beach' for the day!" Lakota declares confidently.

Dexter smirks right back at Lakota, replying "Keep on dreamin' big guy! Might as well get used to calling ME the king... at least for today. Because that title is mine!" Both lions give an agreeing nod to each other, not wasting any time before giving a few revs to their respective jet ski's to prepare themselves. With a synchronized loud thunderous rawr between the two, the race was on! The engines themselves now roaring as the two fluffheads cranked their skis to the max, accelerating to top speeds in virtually no time at all. Second by second, the two zoomed down the coast on what was more like a roller coaster ride with big waves sending them skywards for a few seconds before they'd splash back to the water and continue towards that distant lighthouse. Normally, any lion on the seas would take the time to truly embrace the breeze flowing through the mane. Or even the glorious summer sun beaming off of their fur. But right now the only thing they could focus on is controlling their adrenaline, drawing every last bit of power from their jet skis as they sought to claim that glorious title of 'King of the Beach' for the day. Each time one would gain even the slightest lead, the other lion would manage to close the gap and overtake the other. It was a close race entire way, but neither could deny the absolute blast they were having, a true fun experience as they even managed to provide a treat to the beach-goers that watched them speed by.

*Fast forward to a few minutes later* Lakota stands proudly with his paws firmly planted in the hot beach sands. Happily striking a rather victorious pose as he enjoys the title of 'King of the Beach' for the day =D A title you know Dexter isn't used to giving up! I swear I was so close to winning but... someone on a boat threw a yarn ball in the water and... welllllll you know me :T Couldn't help myself so I hopped off after it x) Hey I may have lost but I did get a yarn ball so it's a win for both of us yeah? :D

Now this Roarin' badass illustration was a tremendously awesome gift from Lakotalander Like.... can’t even describe how excited I was to see this work of art brought to life. I’m absolutely blown away by Vallhund’s dazzling, superb efforts here! Just looking at this illustration gives me a rush, but only a taste of what our two lions are experiencing. BUT even more so, I'm absolutely touched that Lakotalander would be so incredibly kind to get us this piece together :) I can’t shout a rawr of thanks loud enough to express how thankful I am, so let this lion shout a rawr til he drops x.x and also gotta say, he’s rockin' a FANTASTIC mane! You know I love the short-styled manes!
