Can you tell who we're dressed as? =D

 SnowyCheshire is dressed as Jade Curtiss from Tales of the Abyss. He picked this character because he has a fondness for the subversion of character cliche elements in RPG's along with a fondness for the "Cocky but I've earned it." Character type. Apparently, he also has the best Mystic Art in the whole series...whatever that means XD

I guess I don't have to tell you who Kim is cosplaying as since she's one of the most well known characters in video game history. XD I picked her because even though I started gaming in the late 80's I somehow missed the Metroid franchise. I was watching a stream one day with someone speedrunning the 2D games and something just called to me. I played the first game and I immediately fell in love with it. I'm moving through the games in order of release date, so it'll take me a while to get through everything. The reason why I liked it so much is probably due to the heavy feeling of isolation the game projects onto the player. In reality, however, I probably fell in love with it because we have a big, narrow hipped, broad shouldered masculine form presenting--with a woman on the inside. I get that's not what was intended by the devs but it still makes me happy....
