After a depressing breakfast of fruit and milk, before Azrael could say anything, Asmodeus grabbed him and teleported the duo. On the other side, they ended up in a lush green valley.
"Next target, huh?" Azrael asked flatly.
Asmodeus nodded while cackling.
"DISHONESTY!" he shouted.
He then became two dark blue discs and flew into Azrael's hands. The discs themselves trembled in Azrael's. Azrael sighed and rushed forward. When they were gone, a thin spirit appeared out of nowhere and began to cast a spell.

(Grey Side)
After a pleasant breakfast of some sandwiches for Grey and Cedric that was made better by Ben being silly, a red circle appeared on the living room floor.
"Again?" Cherry asked.
The being that appeared this time was a thin, black being. It vaguely reminded Grey of the spirit that he had Cedric had fought in the graveyard, except it had clawed feet, horn-like squiggly things on its head, and red eyes.
"Is this the Freelance Seven?" the dark thing asked in a whispery voice.
Ash thought for a second before responding.
"Actually, yeah, we are Seven again. What's your emergency?" Ash asked.
"Two strange individuals are here in my master's valley. Please send help."
Grey and Cedric stood. Cherry stood as well.
"You're going too?" Cedric asked.
"Yeah, my bitchass is the only one who hasn't gone on one w/ you two," Cherry said.
"What valley are you in?" Ash asked the spirit.
"Bloodstone Valley in Pennsylvania," he responded.
"Ok, bye, putas!" Cherry said.
Her wings twitched, and she disappeared. Cedric then grabbed Grey's hand, twitched his tail, and disappeared as well. When the three reappeared, they were in a big, green area. The way it was shaped made it look like someone dented it. A few feet away, their client stood.
"You two can talk to him if you want. I'm going on ahead," Cherry said.
She then zipped off. Grey and Cedric then walked over to the client.
"My helpers?" the spirit asked.
"Yes," Grey replied.
"My name is Shade. Please go into the valley and help my master if you can."
Grey and Cedric dashed past their client after nodding.

MISSION START!
(Song: The Last One by Black Veil Brides minus the intro instrumental part)
The valley was actually pretty flat in terms of the terrain. Aside from some gaps and water parts, the valley was pretty easy to navigate. The main difficulty came from the stick-like enemies. The smaller ones wielded dark red knives whose cuts stung like heck, and the bigger ones, ridiculously enough, had big, dark red branches! The branches themselves packed quite a wallop as Azrael got smacked back by about 3 ft. or so when he got hit! Luckily, though, Discs-Asmodeus sliced the enemies to ribbons. At one point, Asmodeus sensed something for the last time. He stopped himself and Azrael at a river. After a couple of minutes, a purple orb flowed down. Azrael grabbed it and sighed. Every sphere that the duo collected then flew out of Azrael. They circled him for a bit before flowing back into him. A purple aura then surrounded Azrael.
"I feel... complete," he said w/ a sad smile.
"HEHEHE, good to hear!" Asmodeus said while wrapping an arm around his partner.
Azrael couldn't help but smile a little bigger. Despite his partner's deterioration, he was still his partner. A while later, Asmodeus stopped the duo one last time.
"HAHAHA, this is it, our final target!" Asmodeus shouted gleefully.
He then quickly and tremblingly covered Azrael. He then went intangible, and Azrael rushed forward a bit before staying still for one last time.

MISSION START!
(Song: Dragon Dance from Sonic Lost World)
The valley was actually pretty flat in terms of the terrain. Aside from some gaps and water parts, the valley was pretty easy to navigate. The main difficulty came from the stick-like enemies. The smaller ones wielded dark knives whose cuts stung like heck, and the bigger ones, ridiculously enough, had big, dark red branches! The branches themselves packed quite a wallop as Grey and Cedric got smacked back by about 3 ft. or so when they got hit! Luckily though, Grey's PATIENCE shoes skill allowed him to deliver a swift kick to the enemies, which broke them apart. Cedric's guitar attacks helped out as well. His new Shadow Dash technique helped out quite a bit since it allowed him to dash through enemies and attack them from behind! At one point, Cedric stopped the pair at a water part. There was a hole in the side that the water flowed down from, and Cedric went over to it. He reached in and felt a gray heart. It vanished at his touch, and he rejoined Grey. After a while, they came across the boss. Their bottom half was pretty human and had a red shirt plus regular jeans. The top half had a shawl covering it, and no feature could be made out aside from two glowing dark red eyes.
"Hello," said Cedric, "We came here to help you since we heard that two people came here to take you out."
"...," the target stayed silent.
"Um, are you ok?" Grey asked.
Instead of answering, they pulled out two dark red knives and aimed one threateningly at the pair. Grey and Cedric readied their own weapons.
"Ugh, why do we always have to fight these dicks?" Cedric asked, peeved.
Then he looked behind the boss. Cherry was lying down, unconscious. Cedric then got a furious expression.
FIGHT START!
(Song: VS Mustard Final Battle from Pokemon SWSH)
The boss moved quickly around the area. They shot out knives and branches fast and vanished to different places as well. Grey's health dropped to 85%, and Cedric's to 89%. Grey managed to catch the boss at the right time and kicked them away. Cedric then quickly slammed his guitar over and over, and Grey began kicking at them before the target knocked the pair back. The boss' health was down to 68%. They then rushed around again, this time, planting two branches in the ground and throwing knives out haphazardly. Grey and Cedric had trouble avoiding the projectiles w/ the sticks making traversal difficult. Grey's health dropped to 72%, and Cedric's to 77%. Eventually, though, Cedric managed to use his guitar spin to smack the boss down. After another beatdown, the target vanished to another spot. Their health was down to 22%! They then did something strange. They made some movement w/ their hands, and two copies of them appeared! The branches disappeared from the field, but that didn't matter as the three bosses flew across the area quickly. When Grey and Cedric attacked the fakes, they simply vanished, and two more took their place! The three enemies were hard to deal w/ and Grey's health dropped to 58% and Cedric's to 63%! Eventually, though, Grey noticed that that copies moved in a more stilted manner compared to the real one. Using this knowledge, Grey maneuvered around the fakes and knocked the real one back. Cedric and Grey then whaled on the boss one last time before they jumped back again. Their health was down to 3%.
"...," the boss said.
Their eyes then glew brighter, and their body became engulfed in dark red energy. Their health dropped to 1%! The background grew darker at this point, and so did the boss! They then zipped around, occasionally making one swift strike, before disappearing again. The target moved so quickly that Grey's health went down to 48%, and Cedric's was down to 53%! Eventually, though, Cedric managed to hit the spot that the boss would appear at next. W/o screaming, the boss fell to the ground, dark red energy leaving them. A dark red SOUL floated above their body alongside a red wisp.
VICTORY!
Grey immediately sprinted over to the SOUL.
"Oh no, you don't!" a voice shouted.
Azrael then appeared out of nowhere. Before he could do anything, however, Grey quickly kicked him away hard. This ended up knocking Azrael back, and Grey reached for the SOUL.
"HEH HEH. I don't think so!"
Grey then felt as if his SOUL weighed as much as a lead ton, and he dropped down. Asmodeus then appeared and grabbed the SOUL.
"Ungh, what was that?!" Grey asked.
"HEHE, you didn't know? Blue magic lets you manipulate a person's SOUL! Here's another demonstration," Asmodeus said sinisterly.
He then flicked his hand, and Grey was thrown back into Cedric. The pair then saw Asmodeus staring at the SOUL in his hand. They expected him to drink it like the others. Instead, Asmodeus simply tucked it away in his body, grabbed Azrael, and disappeared.
"Huh, wonder why he didn't drink it," Cedric said after a bit.
Before the pair could wonder further, the red wisp flew over to Grey. It phased into his body, and everything went black for the last time.
...
(Song: The Fallen Child from Undertale)
Grey felt both awesome and horrible at the same time. Ever since the day he gave his eyes away, he'd been murdering any terrible sinners he found as well as used spells to help people. At one point, he tore the teeth straight out of his angelic gums, much to his friend's horror.
"I didn't need them either way!" Grey gleefully shouted w/ a mouthful of blood.
Sometime later, he did something similar w/ his tongue. He tore half the thing off. After that, he began to tear the feathers off of his wings. His friend watched both processes in absolute horror each time. Why did Grey hurt himself so much? He didn't know why, but something about the excruciating pain made him feel alive! W/ each feather plucked, each tooth pulled, or whatever, he felt a rush like no other. The only thing was, though, every murder and self-mutilation weighed down on his heart. Every time he did something horrible, Grey couldn't help but feel bad over what he did. Eventually, one night while he and his friend slept in an alleyway, Grey could no longer take it. Slowly and silently, Grey rose. He then slowly raised a hand. Before Grey could stop himself, he quickly stabbed his hand through his chest. The pain was EXCRUCIATING. He dug around in his chest for a bit before he found what he was looking for. Slowly he pulled out a golden, human-like heart. Agonizingly, he slowly tore the thing out of his torso. When it was finally out, Grey staggered back. Angels couldn't typically live w/o their hearts. Their hearts regulated their emotions in conjunction w/ their SOULs as well as their life energy. If one was to be removed unless the angel was incredibly hardy or had dark magic, the angel would perish. Grey, however, didn't die. He simply staggered for a bit before regaining his balance. Grey now had a gaping hole in his chest where blood flowed out. He looked down at his still-beating heart. He cackled and threw the thing against a wall where it splattered. Grey's friend then awoke. When he saw the destroyed heart, he got up in fright.
"What did you-?" he began.
But then he looked at Grey and his horror only increased.
"WHAT'S WRONG... FRIEND?" Grey asked while cackling.
The look on his friend's face shifted from horror to something more akin to deep sadness. He then said Grey's name. Usually, he would've said the name happily, but now, his voice was full of regret and sorrow.
"Asmodeus..."
...
Grey shook his head and came back to reality.
"Fucking finally!" Cherry shouted.
She must have regained consciousness while I was gone, Grey thought.
Grey's face then fell.
"What's wrong?" Cedric asked.
"I... found out what my visions have been about," Grey mustered.
"Ok, looks like this is a bad time for me to be here," Cherry said.
She then teleported away. Cedric then moved closer to Grey.
"What were they about?" he asked.
"They've been about our enemies..."
"Wait, are you serious?" Cedric asked w/ wide eyes.
Grey idly noticed he was holding a red knife now but didn't care. He nodded.
"Yes, and... I think I might've seen too much. One of them tore parts of his body off and killed many people..." Grey forced out.
Cedric, horrified by this news, made to hug Grey. Grey, hesitant at first, allowed Cedric to hold him. They stood like that for a bit, Cedric occasionally rubbing Grey's back or kissing his head. Eventually, Cedric let go.
"Let's go home," he finally said, "We'll get in some relaxation time there."
Grey nodded and grabbed Cedric's left hand. His tail twitched, and they were transported back to the beginning of the valley.
"Did you get rid of the intruders?" Shade asked.
"Yes," Cedric said.
"Is my master safe?"
Nobody answered. Shade's face fell.
"I'm sorry, Shade, but he tried to kill us first," Cedric explained.
"*sigh* I'm not angry. I knew my master would see you as a threat. I had hoped otherwise, but I knew it was foolish. I'll give you your compensation so you can be on your way."
He then pulled out a leather-looking thing. Out of it, he pulled out some money and handed it to Cedric. He then counted it out.
"$70," Cedric finally said.
Shade nodded.
"I hope that suffices. Goodbye for now. I hope to see you two again someday."
And w/ that, Shade disappeared. Cedric held his hand out to Grey, who took it. Cedric's tail twitched, and the pair disappeared.
