Yeah, Pokemon are really convenient ways for me to mess with color and composition and whatever in a quick and cheap form. I want to do a lot more original stuff, but it's really hard when you've just got to make money all the time with art. But, now that I've saved up enough, I have time to work on more original pieces. I want to get together a portfolio (one that involves different creatures and humans too) so I can actually get a job somewhere I'd enjoy working at.
Here's hoping!

Holy moly. If you only you started to learn animating and interpreted that style of yours, it would be so unique and creative. Maybe even better than Adam Phillips. Look him up, he does great work. Animation isn't easy but you can do it, but I think art is more your thing.I would just really like to see your style being used in a old age style or pokemon animation. Like a fairytale or a really funny movie in the forest like Bitey or Waterlollies by Adam Phillips.
Does one have to expect this flowercat to be mostly stationary seeing as the vines really hug onto the rock? =O
Also it's a really beautiful piece of art, once for showing something new, and for the way you handle everything in your pictures. Surely, it took a good while to draw but i think the results speak for themself
