Leona Mika stood with confidence at the very edge of the forest path she walked her way through, taking in the sights of the vast fields ahead of her under the bright daylight. The promising sights of a warm, sunny day filled the blossom kunoichi with a sense of adventure. But as the lioness readied herself to venture forward, her fluffy ears twitched, and she turned her head around towards the deep woods behind her.

"Hm? Someone there?"

The path behind her yielded no reply other than the leaves and the bushes gently rustling in the light breeze of the new day.

"Huh... Could've sworn I heard somethin'. Guess it was nothing. Even if there was something, they wouldn't last long with my Crimson Daggers. Hihi~ "

Giggling softly to herself, Leona turned her sights back forward. She was on another ninja mission, and this was no time to be dawdling. Besides, even if there was someone or something behind her, she'd be more than prepared to face the danger just as openly as she was to face the road ahead of her. With a confident nod and a motivated smile, the lioness moved onward.

Haven't done anything with Leona in a while! Figured I'd do something about that! lol Once again, the pose app was a lot of fun to use, planning out just the right pose! And as you can see, a bit of perspective is ever present here as well! That said, it kinda felt tricky trying it out to start 'cause it felt like the leg further away from the viewer was bigger than the other! But as my best friend, , pointed out to me, it can seem like that when posing models due to foreshortening; essentially, parts can seem slightly skewed even though everything's angled just how you want it!

Still trying to get a good handle on how Leona's hairdo works, especially with the kemono flare I've given to her head! lol I especially enjoyed colouring in the in the sheaths for her Crimson Daggers as per her refsheet (first time ever doing them) as well as the effects for the bushes! And I gotta say, referencing with that model app for Leona really makes me appreciate her form and design a lot more!

Hand-paws are still pretty tricky to get right even with the modelling app, but I'm sure I'll get better and better as long as I keep at it!

But yeah! Yet again, doing this kind of a drawing with such helpful model referencing was a lot of fun!
