On twitter an artist had a tweet where you’d leave a comment and she’d assign a lesser known animal to draw. Well, I don’t consider myself an artist and I’ve never been keen on drawing, but I wanted to try anyways. I got the short-tailed pygmy tyrant, which basically sounds like me in a nut shell. Anyways, since I do so much with digitizing art I thought I’d give digital a shot. I started by grabbing a reference photo that I broke down into shapes to give me a better idea on how to start off. I could have spent more time on this trying to make it look more accurate. However, around the hr 1/2 to 2 hr mark I didn’t think it was worth it to go much farther for just a twitter thread. I was thinking of doing these once a month or something because I did enjoy it a lil.
P.S. I said screw it to even attempting to draw legs, so I slapped on a picture of a random nest instead.
