From 2020:
I think a lot of people attempted to learn a new skill at the start of the pandemic, I immediately ordered a Kalimba (which broke within the first few weeks of owning it, damn cheap Koa wood) and decided to join the millions of others who took to gardening. While I planted the year before, I didn't have a proper space to do it and only had cheapy containers that I picked up off of random website marketplaces. Second hand is handy!
I wanted to add a plaque to my garden last year that basically said "Lappys Garden" - so I doodled this up during the first lockdown. While I enjoyed gardening before, it really gave me the opportunity to learn some new skills and we built out of decking some raised garden beds which allowed me to plant some fresh fruit and veggies for the year. From tomatoes, potatoes, peas, strawberries and a ton of other random seeds, it was a very productive and fun time. I unfortunately picked up a ringworm from the soil, we did sneakily go out and grab some timber that had been well rotting to practice hugelkultur (by adding rotting wood at the base of a heap the decomposition lends to extra heat and kept my harvesting going for a longer period of time among other things to make the soil life happy) and I honestly think that is where it came from, so I suppose it serves me right for trying to cut corners and disturbing mother nature doing her job. >_>;; While the pharmacist believes that it was a RW, I'm not totally convinced as it's never been contagious and has never gone away. Thats by the by though, and probably TMI for you guys. Sorry. XD
So, me and my favourite plant pokebabes. I'd be a water and grass trainer. >_>;;
