The little, electric blue orb was idly rotated and tilted between a pair of claws that easily dwarfed it in size, not counting the digits they belonged to. The owner would smirk as he continued gazing at his prize, a whole planet that his toys had allowed him to snag straight from its orbit. A rather simple thing, least for him. Just activate the portal device when in orbit of a planet, prime the card-like shielding device that he created, carefully reach through the portal and thus out to the world in question.
The sight of such would easily spark panic among any inhabited worlds, this one being no different, especially as the electric blue lighting slowly slid down and around the world. While not dangerous to come into contact with, the resulting barrier would be nigh impossible to break, or escape from once the planet is fully encapsulated. Being shielded is one thing, but even when encased, there would be a form of tether from the planet to the device, which then gets pulled through much like a ball on a chain. Being displaced from its orbit is one thing, but the moment that the planet gets pulled completely through is where things are far, far more drastic for those on the world, being reduced to such a size that one could mistake the glowing orb as a ping pong ball, now left entirely up to the captor's will, something the nargacuga always enjoyed.
Sure, the shield would protect the diminished planet from any actual harm and even from sudden movements, like being thrown and bounced around like a rubber ball...but such a thing was temporary, as one screen shown, and not to mention the risk of being further reduced from its already pathetic size. Question is if the captor will return the planet to its original orbit once done or let the timers completely tick down.
