Of course Dexter loves taking long strolls through the forest park, especially on gorgeous early spring days like this where mother nature's just waking from her wintry slumber and bursting with vibrant life. It's something that brings him immense peace and joy, being in the presence of so much beauty and the fauna that calls this place home. But from time to time, he chooses to explore the park using a different method. Occassionally abandoning the few paved paths that snake their way through the vast park, to drift along the calm stream that gently flows it's length. Allowing him to relax even more as the crystal clear waters carry him along at a steady pace, those very waters seeming to bring an extra spark of life to the secluded banks the stream caresses. Not surprisingly, journeying like this takes noticeably longer to move from one side of the park to the other; but to Dexter this doesn't matter at all. In fact more than happy to have his little voyage prolonged. After all, just like life, it's all about the journey and experiences along the way, more than the destination right?
And for once Dexy brought his backpack with plenty of snacks in case any birds or critters decide to join him
