(this helped me calm down a little drawing this quick comic, but,...I AM NEVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!

I still ended up ordering it and getting over-night shipping (THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR) (which they said will still be to me on the 12th at the latest) WTFFFFFFFF!??????? I needed it for a commission to be completed and shipped for the 16th (the day they need it), so now I will have to pay over-night charges with Fed-Ex, but at least my commissioner will still get her stuff in time, that's all that matters.
NOTE: ORDER 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE FROM DF YOU GUYS.

It's ok LOL, I ended up getting some shag purple, but it still won't be here till the 12th T__T I planned to ship on the same day. So now I have to pay out of pocket overnight shipping which will be crazy expensive but at least my commissioner will have their stuff in time which s the only thing that matters to me anyway :P

I know right!? This is the first time (the worst time too). I think I can live with the shredded fur edges, if, that's the only bad thing about fabrics.com, DF just rubbed me the wrong way. Plus I find myself using shag less and less (MM and others taking their place). Seems I don't do enough commissions with crazy colors anymore LOL 8D one of the only reasons I had to buy shag at all. :P I might end up buying shag from DF again if I have to match someone's fur (since a lot of people do buy from them and fabric.com/ syfabrics have different dye lots). But for now, fabric.com will be the next place I go if I need an odd color.... even if they have a limited selection, DF was just way too rude for me to purchase from them again >:( *RAGE*
Oh yeah, I go through short and long pile of those colors FAST. I emailed them and got no reply for 2 days (WTF) and then I called them today after the UPS truck drove past my house this morning. I ordered the sparkle fur awhile ago and thought I'd get it nice and quick like the rest of my orders from them. Oh well :( I was just surprised that after waiting this long NO ONE BOTHERED TO TELL ME THEY DIDN"T HAVE IT???
The guy I talked to on the phone was like "Hello?" and I was like" Hi! Blah blah blah" and he was like, "My manager is not in, I'll call you back".
wut?
3 hours later, they call back and say "Oh, we have none left"

"Would you like something else? We have that color in shag."
"I needed it by the 10th of this month, can I get the fur shipped overnight since it was late? I would really appreciate it since I had no idea you had the fur on backorder for this long...."
"Oh, we'll cancel your order and you can go online and reorder the shag, then just select the over-night option. Thank you."

whats funny is i sent them the email to ask on a simple update, and if they were still back ordered, i was changing my order to white. they then sent me a message saying the black fur came in and they shipped it

I flipping hate DF. Fabric.com is my hero. Free shipping most of the time, when DF makes you pay for ridiculous shipping prices. Especially for me since I live 45 minutes out of LA and they are located in LA. 20 BUCKS FOR 30 MILES AWAY?! No thanks DF, go take your crappy quality somewhere else. *mini rant* XD It's a shame fabric.com doesn't have all the colors tho. =/

Sorry you had to go through all that! But I'm glad because from what you described the fur quality to be I would have totally hated having that on my arms and legs! I wasn't so sure about the sparklyness anyway at first, but since it seemed like it would be soooo long I figured why the heck not. I'm sure the shag will look just as good. And atleast it will match completely with the other furs and the fur on my tail instead of being a bit off like those colors might have been <3
