In attempts to learn how to wield a sword and increase his combat skills, Kinix would often go to the bridge that connected two cities and hunt for those slimes that always roamed around it. Not only was he training, but he was also helping the two cities by keeping that road mostly clean. Only armed with a simple iron sword and nothing else, this would be his first steps to be able to defend himself and with good reasons. After being brought to that place out of nowhere and feeling rather insecure about himself, he knew he had to do this and improve, day after day non stop.

Unfortunately for the fox, this training was barely gonna do much to him as mindlessly getting rid of slimes like this wasn't as much of a real challenge as fighting a proper enemy with a weapon, less predictable movement and also probably stronger than him. He's still struggling with slimes even after practicing for months and will be proven to him sooner than later.
