Both an experimental piece and was originally was intended for CastleVania fan made soundtrack and indie game...the track didn't sound like CastleVania material so I scrapped it along with 2 other versions.
This is the 8 Bit version made to replicate the NES but I couldn't find the right drums to make this sound konami like and the end result was a bit under whelming to me.
Still I liked the theme and will probably implement the theme into another project or music series at some point.
There are 3 tracks of the same theme done in various styles

Honestly I was originally NOT going to post these tracks but considering how long the new Metroid track is taking, thought it best to offer something instead of just being complacent while working on the newest track.
I am glad it still strikes a chord with some people so I guess you know what they say...what may not sound good to you will sound great if not awesome to others.

The modern version is actually my fave out of the three simply cause it was the most un conventional version amongst the three. I was able to take something I didn't much care for with what I had already done and mixed it enough to be worthwhile in my books. Again the reason why these tracks were scrapped they sound NOTHING like CastleVania but instead reminded me of a bad bootleg or thrown together indie game soundtrack to slap into a badly programmed bootleg game.
Something I couldn't stand about the track it just didn't fit CVs particular gothic style, this was just not gothic and sounded too neo modern. Glad I scrapped them but still like the theme which I have already started to flesh out for another track but using a more fitting style.
