Trickywi - Destiny Bond | Orchestral Cover
Destiny Bond - A move that causes the opponent to faint if the user faints after using this move.
Pokemon Fan-Songs used to be quite rare in the wide world that is Youtube (at least from what I remember during my early years on there). Before Generation 7 rolled around and lit that fire for artist of all genres and styles to write songs based around Game Freak's best gaming franchise, there was one that caught my attention, and I have been a fan of her since.
And That Artist is Trickywi . She is known for making such beautiful covers and songs, such as An Unwavering Heart, Children's Requiem, and Painted Faces (and hearing those songs actually made me cry, not gonna lie). But one of my favorite Pokemon Fan-Song to come from Trickywi has to be Destiny Bond.
A Halloween Collaboration with GlitchxCity and based on one of the unique Ghost-Type Moved in the main series games, The Song represents the Spiritual Pocket Monsters well while bringing an eerie and dreadful tone. While the Lavender Town Glitchhop Mix brings a Hardcore/Dubstep spin, and Trickywi's Piano Lullaby version bring a soothing yet haunting revisit to the song, The Original version holds a special place in my heart.
In tribute of the song being almost 6 years old, and celebrating Pokemon's 25th Anniversary, I have decided to do an Cinematic Orchestral cover and bring in our Friends from the other side! With huge Special Thanks to MYM Music for helping me out with this project, I want to recreate the original tunes while mixing in a familiar tone.
