MST3K was a group of comedians that created a show in the 90's and early 2,000's.
They would take old, cheesey movies like Robot Monster and then riff them.
Essentially, they sit in a theater like studio and play the movie. They then would make jokes about the movie while it ran. Movies like Robot Monster were hilarious.
Google "club MST3K" and select one of the higher rated shows. My personal favorite is "Danger Death Ray." It's a stupid takeoff on 007 type movies with the hero's name being "Bart Fargo."
It's pretty damn funny.
