This chart explains how digestion works in the Pokeverse. Here are some additional rules I haven't shown in this picture:
- If the prey is dual-type and one of those types is immune to one of the pred's types, immunity is still in effect and the prey will not digest.
- Mega Pokemon can still be digested and there are no modifiers or deductions for the predator.
- Immunity gained from abilities count.

Yes, which is why Mei Li (the Mienshao) is able to keep a ghost inside her as long as she wishes and achieve ghost fusions.
There are more levels of upset the more types are stacked against them, I just didn't think it was worth showing with how much I already had to draw here. Wouldn't have provided much variety either.

So if my below average math skills are correct, the equation for this is 4 x (0.5)^(Predator Digestion Points), using hours as units. At least until the numbers get negative where it seems to become 4 x (-3 x Pred Digestion Points) instead given that Autumn would only be at a 8 hour digestion given the previous formula instead of the 12 hours she’s at.
With this in mind:
The fastest possible digestion, at 5 total predator points with quad type advantage plus a mega, is roughly 7 and a half minutes. (At least as long as Mega form doesn’t just lock the score to +1 point, in which case the fastest time is 15 minutes). This could be achieved via a Mega Charizard Y eating a Leavanny, although I’m sure there’s other ways to achieve this.
The slowest possible digestion (where they aren’t just immune anyways) would be a role reversal of the previous scenario, with a Leavanny eating a Charizard. At a total of -4 points that would be 48 hours, or two whole days. If eating a Mega adds another negative point it could be roughly 60 hours instead.
Most fun I’ve had with math in years

Ahhhhh now I get it, I didn’t think much but now that’s pretty cool and it make sense Digestion is like the final result to an attack much like a normal battle of course you’ll get the case where immunity is a thing I can imagine a Ghost type eating a Normal type only end up keeping them all day since they can’t digest each other
