In my version of Balto and Jenna's children, I tried to build on the imagery from the second movie, but I still had to get creative.
Alteya, the ability to see spirits weighs on the mind of the young half-breed. The oldest in the litter. Named in conjunction with Aleu, Jenna felt their specialness and spiritual connection. Lived in the home of a gold-digging family, where she became the daughter's mistress. Alteya was a regular playful house puppy until Grandma Aniu visited her in spirit form. Her pupil turned pale and Alteya began to see prophetic visions and spirits. The young half-breed darkened, and there was no trace of her former carefree spirit in Alteya's soul. To find answers to a hundred questions about it, she left after Aleu. Unlike her sister, Alteya had never been attracted to the forest and the wolf part of her nature. Unfortunately, she never made it back home.
She never had much of a friendship with her brothers, but she had a warmer relationship with Kodi. Aleu is the one she admires. She is the one she admires. She keeps in touch with Dingo in her dreams so no one in her family will worry about her and Aleu.
Aleu is the youngest in the litter. Her boyish disposition recommended her well in the pack as the leader. When she has reunited with her older sister again, Aleu was beyond excited. The young leader was looking for an answer and help for Alteya, but it was not successful. She still doubts her leadership skills.
Kodi Aleu is often warmly remembered. She remembers Saba and Maitak in fragments. Alteya is supportive of her in the difficult life of a wolf pack leader. She often fought with Dingo as a child.
Dingo is the only daughter who has inherited her mother's appearance. Her outward resemblance to Jenna does not match her playful nature. If Dingo were a cuddly cutie, she'd be worried about her wolf features and drooping ear. With her fisherman owner, she spends all day by the sea or in a small dinghy for two. Her owner is very fond of her ward and sees her beauty in the very directness of the dog. Dingo also likes to talk to her owner's grocery dog. Can this lead to love? It can, but it's too early to speculate about that. The only one who regularly visits her mother with tales of her sisters' adventures.
With Saba and Maitak, they're a pack. While her brothers are in town, they can get into mischief and stir up all of Nome.
They have a cold relationship with Kodi since Dingo often bullied her brother as a child.
With her sisters, she is spiritually close, but still, there is more dog in Dingo than in the two of them, which creates a certain wall between them.
Saba is a big introvert. Though at first glance he is mannerly and feminine, Saba can stand up for himself calmly. When local dogs in town make fun of his name, Saba tries not to react or still verbally siege the offender. At birth, Jenna gave him the name Imlac, a consonance with his brother's name. His mistress, on the other hand, named him Saba, after his blue SeaAndBeAty eyes.
Came to the nomads with his brother as a native dog in a harness. Saba admired the culture of his new family and adapted easily. He loves to spend time with his mistress in the woods when she picks herbs or berries.
Maitak has formed the strongest bond of all the siblings. Saba knows his brother so well that with one wave of his tail he knows what his brother needs.
With Aleu and Alteya, he is not close. He was intimidated by the energy within them.
Saba loves Dingo fondly, and like any big brother he stands up for her with or without cause.
For Saba, Kodi never found happiness.
Maitak is a sharp and free wind. A typical boy and young man. If Saba is pampered by his mistress' affection, Maytak throws himself into adventures on a par with his master, outrunning wild herds, running into the depths of the forest. Maitak loves to catch the wind. He sincerely believes he can outrun time itself. Older dogs at times try to bring the young dog down from heaven to earth. He is in love with his teammate. He is struck by her icy eyes and white as snow fur.
He is not very close to his sisters but tries to build a bond with Dingo. He loves her the most.
He loves to compete with Kodi in speed and agility. He often brags to him.
He thinks that he is the closest to Saba.
He was named after his brothers, but his cousin, Kodiak, was never named after him. He lives in the post office. He is probably the most adapted to the city life of all of Balto and Jenna's pups. He likes to follow the rules too much, which often gets him laughed at by the local dogs. He sometimes visits his brothers if they aren't too far from Nome. He is also one of the few who can hear the old shaman muttering to him. Sometimes Cody thinks he hears Aleu in the shaman's voice.
Aleu is his best sister to him. He misses her very much, every time he delivers Kodi hopes to meet her.
Alteya and Dingo don't remember much.
