For some reason shard-based weapons have an odd appeal to me, like the Tiberium shard launcher from Commander and Conquer Renegade, or the Needler from the Halo games

I think setting up an over-the-top Homebrew campaign would be fun. there are like the Orks but just crazy rat-men that mess to technology and Magic.

Yeah, that's what I love about them. all the weird mad science and magic. All kinds of crazy ideas you can come up with. I mean, Ikit-Claw had basically power armor and bionics, so imagine what they could do into 40k.
That given, maybe think about trying a Skaven Tech priestess - could have fun with that idea.

like said with this clan they rather be kept a secret than being noticed and if any the armor they get from any Space marines would be from the Chaos ones. of course taken the dead chaos Astartes out of it armor the Skaven Scientist would not take interest in these so-called superhumans. I can see the Skaven making their own bootleg version of these guys just not as good as the original.

Err Tron, I'm sorry, but I have to stop you here.
I don't want to limit you, but I don't recommend this to your hive world skavens lore.

First, you wrote yourself that skaven females are much more numerous than males. Males make up a very small percentage of the population. I can't imagine matriarchs risking the lives of boys when they need them to produce a new generation.

Second, skaven scholars have nothing to work with. Chaos space marines have so contaminated genetic material that they often have to steal geneseed from loyalists in order to recruit.
Moreover, the science behind the creation of Astartes is so high outside their probable league that they will not be able to create even an imperfect version.

And third, even the best possible result from this effort simply does not pay off. For the price of one skaven marine, matriarchs can have ten hunters created in the Spartan Mark III style program.
And I'm not talking about the consequences of getting the information out. Skaven marines would mean something they can't control in the eyes of hive lords, and the Inquisition would react immediately to destroy them.

I would recommend you write Sewer Hunter as a special character. Maybe as the son of one of the matriarchs equipped with a specially ordered power armor. These smaller versions exist and are usually made to the customer's specifications.

Please think about it.

really the idea was the any who became one of these space marine Skaven were few chosen. like infertile males that can reproduce or males that are too old to even have kids anymore.
not many will Survive this program as only really five of them are alive. and just keeping them functioning is more work than it is worth. they are only deployed when they get really bad.

the only reason why I even did this was many actually liked this and was fun to do. really I'm not a fan of Skaven I'm only doing for my audience really like what I'm doing. even when I do normal stuff no one cares. so I just keep doing all this crazy Skaven stuff.
