Inspired by the story by James L. Brandt "Midnight Rescue" This was my first interpretation of a key scene in the tale where two Chakat lovers decide to have a romantic tryst after parking their car on the beach and later find themselves drifting out into the Bay. KoVaulk, A Wolftaur Tow Truck driver has to come to their rescue, and this is what I imagined he might have seen when he shined the truck's spotlights out in the direction he heard the yelling coming from.

Originally I was going for a "Space probe" look to the little car, with force shields A'la Star Trek providing fenders, and the windows materializing from an on board energy to matter conversion system. James encouraged me to think of things using the "K.I.S.S." system, (Keep It Simple Smarty.) and so after I finished this drawing I created a design that was more "Practical." After all, lenses for generating force shields could get covered in mud or broken, and it'd be rather upsetting to have one's fingers incorporated into the glass if they were in the way when the windows materialize into place.
