Grand Reminiscences on Themes from the Nutcracker Suite

A short preview from my latest and most virtuosic concert length piece to date, which is over 30 minutes in length. Almost 300 hours of work went into this and I would be lying if I said I was not completely musically drained after completing it.
The themes from Waltz of the Flowers, Tarantella and Journey Through the Snow are explored and expanded upon in this piece, with motifs from the March and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy also making brief appearances within the score.
There are also small motifs and musical patterns from some of my previous works that show up throughout the piece, which is my way of wrapping up my composition for the year by incorporating everything I have learned from previous experience into one, large, "showy" composition.
This piece contains tremendous technical difficulties making it something that would challenge even a great virtuosi.
