I was gifted a piece of artwork from a fellow "Squishie" on the Tazz Talks Discord Server. I had already been Otterified, so I decided to have my Sona holding Baby Joey, the Sea Otter who saved 2020. He was found at the beginning of July 2020, and was rescued by Marine Mammal Rescue Center(MMRC). He was deemed non-realeaseable by Canadian Fish & Wildlife, because he was 10 days old when they found him, and his mommy had been found deceased nearby, the following day. He was too young to have learned the necessary survival skills from his mother, so he became a resident at the Vancouver Aquarium in B.C. Canada. He was to become the Aquarium's 8th Sea Otter resident, but sadly one of their older Sea Otters, Tanu, passed away, before Joey could be introduced to his new siblings. So he became their 7th Sea Otter resident, and little brother to Katmai, Hardy, Kunik, Mak, Rialto, and Tazlina; all rescued Sea Otters. MMRC started a live stream on YouTube, and I watched him every day, starting in August 2020, until present... although the Otters' live stream is now only available on Twitch. Joey has grown up, into a big, fluffy(chonky) Sea Otter, and is now a year and a half old. He has also gained a new little sister, named Quatse.

With practice and encouragement from our Discord Community, she has become a confident and very talented artist.
