[WIP] The Siren of War
Antonia's most common stance when sparring with Dusk. While Dusk actually competes in an MMA circuit, Antonia just trains it for self-defense and to help Dusk train himself. For both of them its also a treasured bit of personal time that the two get to spend with each other. Dusk initially roped her into it out of concern for her safety early into her escorting career.
Her open hand high and low stance is a contrast to his high and low stance, being more compact and side on for use of Aikido and Taekwondo in opposition to his Baijiquan striking and Sambo tackles.
She likes to infuriate him in the ring with that open hand kind of redirection and throwing that Aikido specialized in, because all his force goes nowhere and he goes down onto the mat. Which is exactly why he took up Sambo to counter it. But she'll keep him from falling back into too focus of a striking style that he prefers, by redirecting the blow and delivering a swift kick to the stomach.
