Coughing fits would be audible as smoke was thick in the air. The explosion from whatever it was that Alav tampered with didn't flatten the tent thankfully, but now the group he came to visit had to deal with the resulting smoke as it was steadily flowing out through a gap in the canopy. It would take a few minutes before everyone involved would start to get up once it was mostly gone.
"Everyone alright?" Nezyu called out as she picked herself up from the table, rubbing at her front since it ached from being landing on an edge of the surface.
The others called out in response, groans and the occasional cough coming from those who had equally rough landings or dealing with the smoke that was still present.
"Okay...that was not what I thought it'd do..." Alav stated after a moment's pause, the blue and gray avali managing to pick himself up, letting out a small hiss from some pain flaring up in his back.
"Then what was it supposed to do?" Mirven questioned, getting up from the cushions he was thrown onto thanks to the blast. "Be an antimatter nuke?"
"NO! Ahem...no." Alav calmed himself as he got up fully, walking to the aerogel table that had the still-smoldering, cube-like object on it. "It was supposed to be some fancy decoration that Syn found, doing some fancy shifting when pressed right."
"And blowing up in our faces was not the intended effect, it seems." Laza chimed in now, the magenta avali picking herself up from the container columns she was thrown into.
"Yeah...I mean, nobody's hurt, right?"

Welp, time for a Micro May sequence, and one involving a pack of avali that Alav was visiting. Same as with the Macro March one, each new part will be every three days so as to avoid overloading myself.
As the bubble implies, there's to be donations affecting this much like the Macro March one, but in set intervals instead of each dollar having an effect. Every time that the fifty USD threshold is crossed, it will result in an immediate halving of all of the avali present, with reduction via votes applying after. If it happens multiple times in one part, then they'll be down to half their current size, then halved again, however many times the threshold was passed for that round. Donations don't have to be in said increments, so if someone puts forth say seventy-five USD, that's one reduction guaranteed, with the second halfway filled up.
Reduction via votes will also have a per-round cap as well. The furthest I'd go with the votes is -75% of the recipient's current size(or 300 votes, which is possible given some of you folks), with any that go past that being carried into the next round as a 'Reduction Feedback' modifier for the one with the overwhelming amount of votes.
Lets see how quickly this will spiral into ridiculousness...
