Ohhhhh yes!
I cant wait for the first pages!
And i bet every single one of them has their special skills and abilities to fight for the good!
But i have to ask one thing: Do the "Knights" already know each other or do they still have to "meet" each other and settle the little problems that every new team of heroes has at the beginning?

As the artist I also waited (and practiced ) so long to get to this point :D Setting the style and quality is always a long process. There were dead ends but I also discovered new ways. It's been a big ride so far. ^^
Each character will have difficulties and I will try to balance them out with nice things too :) I'm glad you like them!

Now that "Book 0" is finally over, I have a few thoughts on it.
1. 50+ pages for an "into" or "prologue" is way too long for a book 0. It was, however, really nice to see all the characters introduced as kids, but after 20 pages, I do feel we kind of passed "zero". There's a few other nitpicks I have about some things that happened during Book 0, but I won't get into them since... Well, they're nitpicky lol.
2. I feel like we were shown way too many characters way too quickly, and because of that, a lot of their stories ended up feeling incredibly rushed. I feel like a lot of what happened in Book 0 could have been better shown as flashbacks. We would have gotten to connect with the characters better that way. The characters don't really have any mystery since they were all already explained.
With all that said, I do hope the story slows down from here, and gives us a chance to actually form emotional bonds with the characters. I am not saying this next part to be mean, but more factual. So far I don't really care about any of the characters.
Before people pull out the pitch forks, I don't mean these are bad characters, or that I dislike them in any way. Book Zero just felt so cramped, and so much information was shoved into a short span of time, it didn't give me, as a viewer, time to care, because as quickly as we were introduced to a character, that character was than moved off screen to focus on someone else.
Overall I am still excited to see what happens to these characters, because design wise they are actually really well done. That, and I AM interested in the story. It's why I've read up to this point.
I hope none of this is taken the wrong way, as I am just giving my thoughts as a viewer of this comic.
I'll end on the positives though: Like I said before, awesome character designs. Seriously, Viktria, you're really good at designing characters. I absolutely love the environments, and find them to be a breath of fresh air. I did actually enjoy seeing the many locations at least, and the overarching story does have me hooked. In no way do I think this story, or the characters, are bad, because they are not.

First of all, I really appreciate your honest opinion. I rarely get such long and detailed critiques about my projects, so I was really happy for your comment ^^
Yes, it's a very long prologue, and I think no prologue "book" should exist to any comic, and this was the very first and very last time I've done this... But I had a few reasons I felt I needed this project. As I wrote in the preface of Book 0, this is a projects so big and so long that I got very afraid if I'm really capable to do it. So I thought I'll do another big test before starting the comic, and that turned into Book 0. My second reason behind this book was the flashbacks you mentioned. Tree of Life will be a big comic, and one of its main aspect will be about the team, their grudges and how they befriend each other. Originally I wanted to show their pasts as flashbacks, but there are so many characters that to properly show their past half of the comic would be nothing just flashback. I'm not trying to defend this prologue, I just thought if you took your time to write such a long critique, I should be at least honestly tell the reasons behind a few of my decisions :) Especially because I agree with a lot of things you said. But as I said, I got really anxsious, and I wanted another test to try my skills, and find out a few things about how a long project should be done. And at the end, I'm very happy I did that, because I learned a lot fomr Book 0, I got a lot of feedback, and I'm glad there are a ton of things I messed up here, and not in the final comic. "Welcome to New Dawn" was the only long comic I did before Tree of Life, and it had only 2 characters, and its plot was a lot more simple, so I REALLY needed to show myself that I can do a different kind of story.
Anyway, sorry if my rambling turned out too long, and if I didn't address some of your concerns, but this is really all I could gather in my head right now... ^^;
Thank you again for your critique, it was very informative, and I hope with the actual comic and story I'll be able to endear these characters with you :)
