Halvrika Hringurhali is a raccoon, so naturally the magic-using Adept has a striped tail. Following the events in my Black Chapel stories, she's been forced to cast a glamor-spell on herself to make herself look somewhat younger and to vary her fur colors and patterns.
She couldn't fix her missing left eye, though, and besides the eye patch makes her look sort of exotic.

Halvrika is an Adept of the Order of the Surveillant Eye, and is a powerful magic-user. She fought a noble who was secretly a user of dark magic, and he succeeded in enthralling her using a spell that basically fed on her emotions (during the fight with him, she lost her left eye).
While the Healing Adept succeeded in removing the spells, the effect was to basically rob the raccoon of the ability to feel any emotion, as well as turning her headfur white and prematurely aging her.
It is not known if the condition is permanent.
