* Production - Just like most of the other images in the series this one started out with line art on a drawing layer. The background was added in a separate layer beneath the drawing one, then a third layer was added to color the character before finishing work was applied to complete the picture.

* Story - Road Rovers was a short lived animated series that ran in the late 1990's and featured crime fighting anthropomorphic dogs that were called Cano sapiens. They fought against the forces of General Parvo who created two giant Cano mutants ( Dalmatian and a Cocker Spaniel. ) that appeared in episode 1 "Lets hit the Road". This image is from the part where the Cano Mutants had stolen a molecular stabilizer, fled and took over a train to bring it to Parvo. The Cocker Spaniel mutant is seen here in my version of the screen grab that you can see in the upper right of the image that was the reference.
