These next five models will try to depict the undead empire of the Wendigo Marches, a vast arctic confederation bound to the singular purpose to fulfilling the Shadow's will. Kind of like Wildar, I can't really show the huge size and might of either, but hopefully their minions and servants can suffice.
______
It is no mystery where the Wendigo marches came from, just as is the icy fate of the entire north and any creature who claims to serve The Shadow. Just as the Wildar made a pact with their god, granting them great blessings and dominion, so did their breaking of said pact damn them to an icy hell, forever damned to wander without the comforts of civilization to repent for their sins. The Stagfolk were a strange and tall people, proud and strong who dwelled in small cities in the north, ruled by a priesthood who grew increasingly hypocritical and cynical. They were at one time the Statikai, and were once rival of the Ice Elves and their human thralls. One day, for their sins of debauchery and heresy, the Shadowed cursed their entire people with barrenness. Desperate for a cure, the Statikai gathered a council, in which their god made an appearance. Making a reckless pact with it, the Statikai were granted newfound power, turning into monstrous, cannibalistic, eternally hungering horrors whose presence rose the dead and nulled magic around them. They were given only one mission, born to corrupt and spread like a plague upon the earth; To test the strength of civilization and shatter it.
They went about this task with brutal effect, butchering the Ice Elves and defiling their prophecies. The fate of the elves was a gruesome end, but the fate of their mortal earthly servants was more so. Wendigos have few children, but can corrupt any pregnant creature with their presence, turning them into Yul'Wendigos and linking them to their curse. Yul'Wendigos are strong and long lived horrors who are eternally hungering for fresh meat and grow stag horns which jut from their heads. Their eyes become a deep white. Most live as servants and soldiers within Wendigo tribes, becoming elite foot soldiers who spread and cannibalize each other, and often sometimes end up cannibalized themselves if they are deemed unworthy. The most beloved foot soldiers are accepted into the ranks of their newly made clan, bound to the eternal march of the Wendigo.
Yul'Wendigos became more freer as they were set by their tribes to build ships for the 2nd March against the weak and crumbling Beastfolk realms, but gained greater freedom and built their own brutal, violent society away from their tribes. Yul'Wendigos have a strange family and society, coming from countless races who were either kidnapped, taken, or traded to their masters long ago. The mothers of Yul'Wendigos are held in separate tribes, usually untouched after giving birth and cared for as prisoners. These mothers impart what little culture and customs which meld into the patchwork of the Wendigo Jarldoms, coastal kingdoms which serve as industrial bases and trade centers for a civilization bent on the destruction of civilization. Although the Jarldoms feud amongst themselves, most of these feuds will immediately stop when a March is called.

The Wendigo Marches
"From the mists they had come, from all manner of lands they traveled. In the home of Anar they stood beneath his bough, cursing each other till the cloaked master appeared. He amazed the priests who did not believe, and frightened the warrior who did. He gave onto them a riddle of their curse, blackening and hardening the hearts of a people whom thought blessed. They cursed him, their master, but were given a way to fix their barren future. 'Reason with me' it said, calming the cold hearted one 'make pact with me' it offered. I tell you this, a pact of blood and death, a civilization doomed to end, and new one to begin. For the barren beasts were made holy and cursed, forevermore servants. Thus did they march, braying and yelping for help, but only a silence answered them thus, such was the curse of their coming." -Beastfolk Poem on the Wendigo Marches
