No idea how long this took, but another old-ish one. Since there's no character and it's not *super* furry-related, into scraps it goes.
I love the way Eyvind Earle renders snow on trees, so every once in awhile I'll be inspired to really go ham into exaggerated shapes. Can't go wrong with warm light on a cool background, right?

I would just create the folder in the main gallery for such arts... especially when they look so great and beautiful
It is very atmospheric and even magnificent - the glimmer of frozen snow, the dimming cooling light of winter sun with pinkish northern colors, and evergreen tree under the thicc layer of snow are definitely looking very nice and give you feeling of freezing air and harsh conditions of the coldest season in the year
Sometimes the pieces like tha are as important as the arts with characters. The ability to work with nature can improve artworks with the characters very nicely because they can become more realistic and completed in terms of the scenery making it more alive.
Really love to see the landscape arts from you. It is awesome piece of art!
