First off, a MASSIVE DISCLAIMER. This is fanart. As in, these characters are not mine, in any way shape or form. The characters pictured here are the two main male leads from Kyell Gold's absolutely wonderful novel, 'Out of Position', which can be found on his website, here: http://www.kyellgold.com/oop/ . (Or you can find his userpage here
Kyell) If you haven't already read it. . . do so. It's a brilliantly-written anthro novel, of which I am a massive fan. Obviously :)
That being said, this is a very belated gift I'd meant to finish months ago, but unfortunately, that happened to be when I was moving. So it's become Christmas gift art.
Kyell's writing has touched and inspired me, and he and his mate are two of the friendliest and most approachable guys you'll ever meet, too. I've wanted to draw his characters for ages.
So in short, thanks for a fantastic story, Kyell, and for putting up with my stupid fangirling. I know I'm obnoxious :P
Please, please, please do NOT redistribute or reproduce this work in any way. This is purely fanart, and again, the characters are NOT mine.

This is every bit as good, and every bit as detailed, as the original cover by Blotch. Honestly, it might be a bit more so. It even stacks up well to Isolation Play's new cover, which I think blows the old one out of the water. You should be excessively proud of this piece hun, it is simply magnificent. Even Blotch would agree to that ^^
damn this is OUT OF POSITION (or ISOLATION PLAY the number 2 i can't wait to read)

I love Kyell normally, though OoP wasn't my favorite. Too many boring football interjections.
It would be better without them, since they pull the reader out of the actual story for little gain.
But other than that, it's better than most novels I've read.
(Also, whenever someone refers to it via acronym, I keep thinking Britney Spears. A cookie for anyone who knows why.)

Now there's something I've always meant to pick up, remember reading the intro of that a long while ago, assume it must have been linked to from Blotch's page or somewhere similar. Never got around to picking it up though...I should correct this.
That's a really nicely put together piece that - and the feel of it really fits in well with both the style of the artwork as associated with the novel, and the story itself.
Plus it's incredibly well drawn as well!

Faved because of how utterly awesome the book is so far...and I'm only 55 pages in!
I happened to buy a copy from rabbit valley while I was deployed, and I waited eagerly to start reading it the moment I got back.
Although this is fan art, it is beautifully done as usual of your other work.
Keep doing the best you can, all of it is beautiful. ^///^
