Oh yeah, furaffinity is a bit bugged on that regard, when you first upload a drawing, if it's too big the website automatically resizes the image for some reason, which turns gifs into jpegs in the process. If you want to post an image in full size, or a gif to play correctly, you need to go to the uploaded image and click on "Change submission file" and reupload, it should fix.
