The first encounter between Purity, the Mare of Might, and the Amazing Artificer. That Purity packs a heck of a punch. Good thing the old wolf's prepared for her. (A story "Frenemies" is in the works about the first meeting between Kathryn deWinter and Ekatrina).

Can the old wolf's wit and skill triumph over the mare's brute strength and purity of heart? Okay, okay, maybe not. Ekatrina came prepared, with a rework of her old shield generator. It is not working out as planned. That punch should not be cracking the Barrier of the Pentae, shouldn't even be close. Purity gotten a lot stronger than the muscle bound minion of morality that Ekatrina remembers from twenty years back...
