WIP - Quincy the Lucario - Unfilled plush (2/2) 2022
One final picture of this big guy all together before I got him filled! Before I learned how to sew invisible-style zippers into plush, I always used molded plastic zippers to close off the fill opening since the bigger teeth wouldn't get clogged if they ran over stuffing or pile. It was always tough to hide these though, so the best solution I could ever come up with was to put them at the very base of the tail or head and then completely hide them with a little fluffy ruff around them. The zipper closure allowed these plush to be refilled as needed without having to mess with the needle and thread, and even let them be easily emptied out and machine washed!
