Agreed but I do say the the more closer perspective (pov) does some interesting degrees of captivating and we have something more of a downward angle. I do see the mention of the previous mention of a panel. But were you to take this final comic panel and size it out, just something about sitting there conversing with a Bax.
There is just one more thing this guy needs to do to ensure he gets a job working with his favorite person, prove he can deal with an active thief, having a intimidating guard is great but if they can't back up said intimidation (especialy non lethally) then they may as well be replaced with a large statue.
Okay, so [b]this[/i] is going right in the World Heritage Arts and Culture time capsule
that will explain to the future post-singularity generations, and more likely -- alien archeologists --
just what the heck our civilizations were doing creating all those defiantly impractical conversation pieces...
Those concept sketches! Those jazz hands and eyes full of emergent innovation! The hangly-dangly!
The dangly types have been a huuuge hit with the drunks
What a thing to say! And also a shewed and plausible assessment, given the state of mind a good barside dive can put a man into!
"Dangly? Heh! Shiny? Oooh! Mutually complementarily dangly AND shiny?! Wrap. That. Up!!! Just take all the coins! Keep the coinpurse!"
"...and also what a pretty place like you is doing in a lady like here?"
"You wanna go out for a drink, or skip to the good part and just wallow in a gutter sometime in a snoring coma?"
"No? Err, nevermind... Don't have my coin, but I *do* have my shiny dangly new-fangled boondoggle! And that's all that matters..."
Kalgkur is having his brainsponge rearranged here... and also his tender heartsac twisted into a knot.
It's neither here nor there, but I think Blizzard could be doing so much better for themselves
if instead of making those endless wargame series they instead released a good hydralisk dating simulator...

Probably both, since Nell is undoubtably talented and very creative.
Baxxid are, by nature, ambush predators, and as such rely on meticulous planning and set-up for their hunting style to succeed. Compare to humans, who are endurance/stalking hunters, where improvisational and deduction/prediction skills are far more valuable since you need to be able to make assumptions based on available evidence to track down increasingly stressed and exhausted prey.
Human capacity for creativity and abstract thinking are probably just as impressive to Baxxid as their mathematical and didactic abilities would be to us.

Hello, OOPsers! I'm here to remind you once again that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
OOPs closed out last month at 75th place and about 720 votes. It's currently at 440 votes and 78th place. The highest it's reached is 36th place, and the top vote getters seem to end up with something close to 20,000 votes.
Vote early, vote often! Help OOPs get noticed!

If you plan it in precise detail in your head then you have to do it all over again in the real world. Start with a vague idea and modify it once you see what's working and you can work super fast.
Works great for little shiny trinkets, where the worst consequence of something not working out is that you've wasted some time and materials. Not so great for planning a bridge that hundreds of thousands of people will use every day, where a serious fuckup could cost a bridge-load of people's lives and whatever results from a long-term break in all the commerce flowing over it.
