I finally remember everything. My past. My life. Rose. It's all so strange. My life as Thorn, and my life as Alice, they feel so... separate. Sometimes it even feels like Thorn came first. Memories are funny that way.

Twice now, I've lost my partner. Both my lives, thrown into chaos. Even now that I know what to do, I don't know if I can do it. Even if I CAN do it, I don't know if I'll ever get my lives back. If Compass will believe me. If Rose will still be there when I get back. The present is a literal disaster, and the future looks bleak... Things were so much happier in the past. I just want to go back...

... It was worth it. Even if I fail, even if I succeed and it's not enough, the time I spent with Rose, and with Compass, it was worth it. Maybe I'll have to fight Compass, maybe Rose is long gone, but at least those happy days I spent with them... happened. No matter what the future throws at me, at least the past will always be there.
