I have mixed feelings about season 2: it's certainly good, but its full potential wasn't realized due to episode and budget cuts, which make some subplots feel rushed or superficial. In short, my complaints are directed primarily at HBO Max, and not at the showrunner. Seriously, even despite these obstacles, the series became more successful (and it was still canceled because the new streaming policy is focused on reality shows and large-scale franchises, not inexpensive originals lile OFMD)

I'm not giving up hope that David Jenkins will be allowed to make a director's cut (and also film the final season one day!), although if we talk about fanart... I won't take into account the events of the last 8 episodes in my warrior cat AU anyway)) Not from due to the quality of the original, but rather due to the fact that during the year and a half of waiting it diverged quite significantly from the canon. I know people in the fandom who have tried to integrate their long-running AUs with the events of the second season, and it almost always looks forced and weird.

In any case, I made several works during the viewing process and a little later, but within the framework of the cat AU this should be considered canon divergence ;3
