Mirael occupied the station of order, obedience and servitude until recent times, when it was deemed by the higher celestial authorities that archaic concepts and stations would be phased out in an effort to clean up Heaven's image. Rather than peacefully resign or behave as befit her station (in an orderly manner), she defied the decision and fled from heaven to hide on other worlds instead, unwilling to surrender her powers over her station.
Adopting the human name Mirielle, she moonlights as the owner of a large chain of fashion boutiques; each store is armed with heavenly wards to hide her presence, but also taps into local leylines to gather up power for her use, while providing her with ample space to prepare an army of loyal, brainwashed drones and puppets.
Her ultimate goal is nothing less than the total toppling of Heaven, so that she can take the keys to the universe and run it the way she thinks it should be: orderly, obedient and subservient.
