Boruto OC - Kyo Jinja ref 2024

Almost 3 years later I made a ref for my character Kyo, this is the first sheet as I'm planning to make an expression sheet as well.
I feel like I can never nail that "official" look with my Naruto/Boruto artworks but this refsheet is the best I made so far in general (I hate drawing feet don't judge me).
About Kyo: Once a vagabond that scavenged the streets of Konoha for scraps he became the vessel of Momoshiki Otsutsuki after a rather odd twist of fate.
Kyo's mother died upon giving birth to him and the baby was given to his father who was an addict and an abuser.
Upon survivng horrors Kyo escaped his life at the age of 14 and became a vagabond and a minor criminal; disliked by everyone in the village he was driven to the outskirts of Konoha where he had to fend for himself and resented the human race as a whole.
He ran into Momoshiki unexpectedly, and the Otsutsuki reacted with violence, intending to kill him but stopped last second.
He was bestowed with the karma simply as a means of torture and amusement, but survived the whole ordeal, becoming a compatible vessel. Due to posessing a crippled chakra network Kyo cannot use chakra in a way that matters, and the Karma's decompression is halted, making him unfit to be reincarnated into.
His relationship with Momoshiki developed into something else throughout the years.
